Camila Cabello Says Being In Love Is “Exhausting”

23-year-old Camila Cabello is exhausted. From what, you wonder? Her relationship with 21-year-old Shawn Mendes. Yeah it looks exhausting, Camila. She spoke with Jimmy Hill of CapitalFM at the Global Awards 2020 and said that sometimes being “in love” can get tiring.  Imagine how tired we are, Camila.

At the Global Awards, Camila performed two songs, as well as pick up the award for Best Female. Best at what is up to you. Singing? Performing? Racism? You decide.

She spoke with Jimmy backstage and he asked if Camila and her boo were going to make anymore music together. Camila said she and Shawn are busy being in their twenties, and so I guess that makes them unable to record music? via: UsWeekly

“I want more, we want more but honestly we’re being in our twenties… Just like being in love is exhausting, it takes it out of you.  We can’t even go to the studio, we can’t, yeah. We’re trying to calm down!”

Jimmy then asked, “Too busy in other ways?” Camila replied:

“No, no. I meant emotionally! Dang it.”

Jimmy also asked if Camila likes Shawn’s new beard. To which, Camila surprisingly didn’t say, “New beard?! But we have a contract! If that piece of shit beard-betrayed me with another beard, I swear...” But no, not that kind of beard. A beard beard.

“I won’t say that that’s my influence, but I really like it. I think he likes it but he’s never had it this long before, and I’m just like, “Don’t shave it. I like it.”

Yeah, of course Camila wants you to keep your beard, she doesn’t want to get dumped! Who wants to lose steady employment?! But for real, this beard is hanging on for DEAR life (like Camila!) This beard is a visual representation of my belief in Shawn and Camila as a couple: thin.

Listen, I’ll just say this: Justin Bieber may not be able to beat Tom Cruise in a fight, but he can grow a thicker moustache than Shawn Mendes.
