Sharon Osbourne “Clapped Back” At Chrissy Teigen For Defending John Legend’s “Baby It’s Cold Outside”
We’re still talking about this new rendition of Baby It’s Cold Outside brought to us by the goody-two-shoes of Hollywood, John Legend. We all know that Sharon Osbourne lost her entire mind on The Talk the other day, going off about how John was ruining “art” and comparing it to censoring nudes. Well John’s wife, Chrissy Teigen, sort of commented on Sharon’s comments in an off-hand way during an event. Those were fighting words to Sharon Osbourne, and she came back swinging on The Talk, warning Chrissy to stay back!
Sharon had previously said that changing the lyrics to Baby It’s Cold Outside, which John rerecorded with Kelly Clarkson, is “ridiculous” and suggested he was fucking with the artistic integrity of a song about getting to bang your crush on a winter’s night. Okay. Entertainment Tonight caught up with Chrissy at the 2019 Baby2Baby gala on Saturday night and she laughed off Sharon’s hatred saying:
“Sharon’s always going to have something to say, it’s her job. I remember those days of getting to talk shit for money. It’s very fun.”
Chrissy was referring to the short-lived talk show which she was on, FABLife. Well, don’t compare FABLife to The Talk, ever, because Sharon does not do what you do, honey. Sharon went off on Chrissy during yesterday’s episode of The Talk:
“It’s amazing that you remember those days, ’cause the show you were on didn’t even last a season…. We don’t get paid to talk what she said, about anyone. We are self-made women at this table, who have lived very interesting lives, everyone one of us… I was born into the industry. I just didn’t marry someone who was in the industry.”
Uhhhh, maybe ease up, Sharon. Being born into an industry is not a skill, and also you did marry Ozzy Osbourne–one of the biggest rockers in history. AND you definitely do get paid to talk shit–that’s what daytime talk shows are.
But then I guess Sharon realized she sort of veered left in her dragging and tried to dial herself down:
“I don’t want to start anything… I think that John Legend is an amazingly, multi-talented person. He is incredible, and I think she’s lovely, they have a beautiful little family, they do. They are just the perfect couple. I don’t have a bone to pick, but I’m also entitled to my opinion… I just thought the lyric was silly, and that’s it. I love the way you stand up for your husband, I think it’s amazing… But don’t start anything, because I know it will get ugly. So don’t start.”
I mean, Sharon started it, but she should finish it. Because honestly, in a scrap match between Sharon and Chrissy, I’m not sure who would win. And Sharon shouldn’t risk it. She just got her new face!
