Dakota Johnson’s Tooth Gap Is Gone And People Are Sad For Some Reason

Sorry all you gap-tooth lovers out there–one of your Queens has fallen. Dakota Johnson seems to have closed that small gap between her two front teeth as it looks like the once-parted incisors are now fully connected best friends. And you know what? The internet has an opinion on the matter. It’s wild to think that people would comment on Dakota Johnson changing her own physical appearance since the Internet usually doesn’t notice these thing.

Page Six reports that just like Lindsay Lohan‘s Mykonos beach club, Dakota Johnson’s tooth-gap is closed. The 29-year-old was spotted at the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie Peanut Butter Falcon which also stars Shia Labeouf. When she flashed her teeth to the cameras, people noticed something different going on with her mouth. Specifically the fact that her two front teeth were now fully connected.

Dakota was once hella proud of her gap, back in 2017 she made a whole damn video with Vanity Fair about how much she can fit in her gap:

When the pictures hit the internet. people were quick to react, with many Dakota Johnson fans being devastated–they really needed her front teeth to be about 2-3 millimeters apart for their lives to be fully complete. Here are some reactions:

Dentist to the stars, Dr. Victoria Veytsman, who works on people like Hailey Baldwin, Brandi Glanville and Clay Aiken, thinks that this was some professional Invisalign work:

“This looks like it was likely a short course of Invisalign treatment. Definitely not veneers because her original teeth look the they are the same size shape and color… It could have also been some minor bonding between the teeth but the shape of the teeth still look like they are the same size. So for once—it’s not veneers in Hollywood!”

Honestly she’s probably wrong. Now that Dakota and Chris Martin are back together, she still got access to those good-good Goop discounts. She probably popped some jade eggs up her snatch, sat back and relaxed while some shamans closed her tooth-gap with some Goop-brand Tibetan-blessed crystal pliers.
