Chris Brown Won’t Let His Lawyers Accept Karrueche Tran’s Restraining Order
Chris Brown admitted recently that if you date him and break up with him, it won’t take long before you feel like Rockwell in the Somebody’s Watching Me video. Chris Brown will stalk you. Nothing will stop Chris from his relentless pursuit to be the worst ex-boyfriend in the world. Not even legal documents telling him to stay away. The New York Daily News says that Chris Brown refuses to accept the restraining order that was granted to his ex Karrueche Tran last month.
To recap, Karrueche claimed she needed legal protection against Chris after he had threatened to “take her out” with a gun and had harmed her friends as a form of intimidation. Chris refuses to accept the restraining order. Literally. Karrueche’s lawyers tell NYDN that they have tried to serve Chris with the restraining order with the help of law enforcement, but that isn’t happening. Chris’ lawyer confirmed to Karrueche’s lawyer that Chris has specifically instructed his legal team not to accept the service of paperwork either.
Karrueche’s lawyers are now working to have Chris served with the restraining order papers by a private company. A temporary restraining order is in effect until he accepts.
Both sides were scheduled to have a hearing this morning, but that didn’t happen because Chris hasn’t accepted the paperwork. Their hearing has been pushed off to later next month. I guess if Chris still refuses to accept the papers, it might be pushed off again. Is all this talk about pushing also making you think about how nice it would be if someone pushed Chris Brown into a box marked “Return to Asshole Island“, or is it just me?
As for what’s been going on with Chris lately, he appeared on ABCs Black-ish last night. He played a rapper named Rich Youngsta who was hired to appear in a commercial Dre Johnson (Anthony Anderson) was making for a champagne. As you can already imagine, a whole lot of people weren’t having Black-ish’s attempt at giving that crusty little toe wart the family-friendly ABC sitcom treatment.

See, Chris Brown may appear to be playing a slightly-less-shitty version of himself, but that’s not true at all. Rich Youngsta uses the bottle to pour champagne on people, whereas Chris Brown would have given the bottle to someone in his entourage to be used as a weapon.
