Chris Brown Allegedly Beat Up His Manager

Back in 2012, Chris Brown decided to hire a new manager in an attempt to fix the Tupperware container of rotten leftovers that was his reputation. Chris was still trying to climb back from violently beating on Rihanna before the Grammys in 2009, as well as deal with the public’s perception that he was an all-round asshole. So he hired a guy named Mike G to help him repair his image, get him out of debt and off drugs. In an unfortunate twist of irony, TMZ says Mike G is suing Chris Brown and claiming he beat him so bad he ended up in the ER.

According to the lawsuit, everything was good between Chris Brown and Mike G up until last month. Then, without provocation, Mike G alleges that Chris Brown took him in a room and went full Chris Brown on him. Mike G claims Chris repeatedly punched him in the face and neck, and put his ass in the hospital. Jesus, did Chris Brown think there was a 2-for-1 special on sending people to the hospital last month?

Mike G also alleges that Chris Brown wasn’t at all sympathetic for beating him up. Mike G claims that shortly after Chris whooped his ass, Chris made fun of him on social media (huh, you don’t say) and bragged about the beat-down to friends. He adds that Chris Brown threatened to beat others other people working on the tour if they stepped out of line.

Despite the fact that one of Mike G’s jobs was supposedly to get Chris Brown off the drugs, he claims the beating he received from Chris was “drug-fueled.” Chris Brown? Drugs? Never! Mike G’s attorney Patty Glaser tells TMZ that it’s Chris Brown’s fault that this situation was escalated to the lawsuit stage.

“We did everything we could to resolve this in a non-public way to avoid damage to Chris Brown. Regrettably, as outlined in our complaint, Chris Brown has proven to be his own worst enemy.”

Not surprisingly, Chris Brown released a nonsense-filled statement about Mike G’s allegations on Instagram about six seconds after TMZ reported them.

I guess my first and only question is: Where in the hell would Chris Brown get all that poop? Does he have an insider hookup with a petting zoo or something?

Mike G’s lawsuit doesn’t specify how much money he’s asking for, if any. But it does mention that Mike G is afraid that Chris Brown’s “gang member friends” will be instructed to beat on him for opening his mouth. Maybe that’s why Mike G didn’t disclose his real name. I just assumed it was because he didn’t want people to know the identity of the person who was dumb enough to think they could de-asshole Chris Brown.
