Well, it’s come to this. They’re doing a Twilight TV series. Sources tell the Hollywood Reporter that Stephenie Meyer’s magnum opus is in early development with Lionsgate Television. So far, no word if this is a remake or a continuation of the movies or something else entirely. The one thing we know for sure is that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart won’t be touching that shit with a ten-foot pole, even if that pole was made of cash, gold, and cash for gold. Midnight Sun is the newest Twilight book and it’s told from the perspective of Edward Cullen, so you know, it’s something that totally needs to exist. August 4 will be an exciting day for Twihards who can’t let go and Stephenie Meyer’s bank accounts, because that’s the day that mess comes out. And, of course, there’s already talks about turning it into a movie since humanity hasn’t been enough. But along with people of color, don’t expect Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart to reprise their roles because DUH.
The World Is Getting Another “Twilight” Book
The Hollywood Reporter says that Stephenie Meyer has returned and given crazy aunties everywhere a reason to stop posting COVID-19 conspiracy theories on Facebook to read this crap. Stephenie is shitting out her long-awaited (by some) next novel, which is really just a refurbished Twilight. See, it’s not just Hollywood who doesn’t have any new ideas! Her book Midnight Sun will be out in August and will tell the story of Twilight from the perspective of vampire Edward.
