“It” Shows That Terrifying Clowns Will Make Bank At The Box Office

September 10, 2017 / Posted by:

Just like Sarah Paulson’s shrieky character on American Horror Story Cult, everyone is scared of clowns. Also, we’re all masochists. This is why the film adaption of Stephen King’s million-page scary clown horror epic It cleaned up this weekend. Pennywise the Dancing Clown’s creep show smashed some box office records on the way to what looks like an opening weekend of more than $100 million according to Variety, Deadline and Box Office Mojo. Open Post: Hosted By Alexander Skarsgard’s Brother In Fully Pennywise Drag

Entertainment Weekly posted the first picture of Alexander Skarsgard’s 26-year-old brother Bill Skarsgard (from Hemlock Grove) in his full Pennywise costume for the remake of It that EVERYONE (read: NO ONE) has been waiting for. EW describes Pennywise as an “ageless, supernatural beast who feeds on the fears of children,” to which everyone who works for Anna Wintour said, “Hmm…I know someone like that.”

New Line is getting a majorly early start on pushing this shit, because it doesn’t come out until September 2017 and the world could be over by then if another child-terrorizing scary clown becomes POTUS. But really, It’s costume designer Janie Bryant put Pennywise in Little Lord Fauntleroy’s christening dress, because he’s been around forever and she wanted his costume to “incorporate otherworldly past lives.”

I know that picture is supposed to make me jump out of my asshole, but I think he looks faaaaaaabulous in that harlequin baby doll dress! Bitch looks like a cross between Jackie Stallone as Queen Elizabeth I and Carrot Top as a dancer in Madge’s MTV VMAs performance of Vogue. I want to party with that trick.

And if you’ve never seen BSkars out of that clown costume, here he is with his girlfriend at the NYC premiere of Allegiant in March.
