Alfonso Ribeiro Dropped His Lawsuit Against “Fortnite” About The Carlton Dance
Former high-hopes-having Alfonso Ribeiro has dropped his lawsuit against Epic Games, makers of “Fortnite”. Alfonso was suing Epic for allegedly ripping off his Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’s character’s trademark dance move – “The Carlton” – for a downloadable “emote” for player characters in the game. It’s not easy to copyright a series of physical movements from an almost 30-year-old sitcom so Alfonso is out that “Fortnite” check. No worries, though. It’s 2019 so they’ll probably re-boot Fresh Prince in a couple of minutes so just hang in there, ‘Fonso.

Alfonso Ribeiro Is Suing The Creators Of “Fortnite” For Using The Carlton Dance
Y’all I can’t dance for shit, which is why when I was younger and I would see Alfonso Ribeiro do the Carlton Dance on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air I would feel better about my lack of rhythm. Little did I know that all the while he was dancing his way to a trademark because now, with the knowledge that Epic Games has been using his signature dance as a downloadable ’emote’ for their hit game Fortnite Alfonso is ready to sue them for copying his moves to make money.
Of Course The Original Aunt Viv Had Thoughts About “The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” Reunion
Most of the cast of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunited in Malibu on Monday to help out Karyn Parsons with a prize that her charity, Sweet Blackberry, auctioned off. Missing from the reunion was Uncle Phil, Nicky Banks and The Original Aunt Viv. Uncle Phil couldn’t make it since he’s in heaven now. Nicky Banks couldn’t make it, because I’m guessing he’s too busy selling homes. And The Original Aunt Viv wasn’t invited, because it maaaaay have killed the happy time vibe of that charity dinner if she tackled Will Smith and pushed him into the Pacific. I said maaaaay. I know some tricks would pay extra to see that.
