Serena Williams Announced Her Second Pregnancy At The Met Gala
After Rihanna debuted her second pregnancy during her Super Bowl performance, we really are running out of places for wealthy, famous women to debut their pregnancies to us peasants. And this time, two guests had the same idea. At last night’s Met Gala, Serena Williams debuted her second pregnancy with her husband, Alexis Ohanian. And Karlie Kloss also let it be known that she’s expecting her second with husband, Joshua Kushner (the non-Trump Kushner brother). Too bad no one really cares about Karlie’s stunt today, as Serena out-stunted her with the exact same stunt.
Vanity Fair says that Karlie was the first to arrive at the event in a Loewe look:
But when Serena showed up pregnant, everyone was gagged since it was more surprising. She spoke with Vogue about welcoming her second child with Alexis. The two already have a 4-year-old daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., via Vanity Fair:
“There’s three of us here,” Williams told Vogue on their livestream from the event.
“I’m good, I’m feeling good now,” she said. “I can breathe, I can stop–not hiding, but…”
On the red carpet, Ohanian, also dressed in Gucci, cradled Williams’ bump in a sweet gesture.
…Williams, clad in a black and white Gucci gown, paid tribute to Karl Lagerfeld, the late designer whose work is honored in this year’s Costume Institute exhibit and gala.
“Karl never disappointed with his designs, so we’re both just so happy to be here and get inside and not drink,” she joked.
“I’ll be partaking,” Ohanian quickly clarified.

There was probably a haunting gasp floating in the air when Serena and Karlie hit the carpet, and it was probably Kunty Karl gasping from the afterworld over two ladies with belly guts being allowed at HIS event. But then he probably let out a ghostly sigh of relief when he realized they were just pregnant.
