Rihanna Introduced A Very Special Guest During Her Super Bowl Halftime Performance: The Second Child She’s Pregnant With!
The highly anticipated Rihanna “comeback” concert, which took place during something called the Super Bowl (ever heard of it), was met with mixed reviews from her fans. Some were delighted to see RiRi barely move and stare into the camera like, “This is what you wanted, right?” because she gave us everything and nothing all at the same time. Classic RiRi. However, this time it had nothing to do with the fact she didn’t want to be there. The real reason she looked like she was over it at certain points during her performance is that she’s probably tired from carrying her second baby friend inside of her billion-dollar belly. And she chose the Halftime show to make the announcement as she “sang” some of her most beloved tracks in what will go down in history as the most epic episode of Lip Sync Battle ever.
Rihanna gave a thirteen-minute performance where at some points, she was in the air gently gyrating on expensive scaffolding and, at other times, safely placed on the ground with just enough of a shake and shimmy to keep her die-hard fans entertained. But it was at the very beginning of her set, when the camera pulled away, revealing her blood clot bustier maternity wear (which Fenty will probably release later this year) and viewers began to wonder if she was with child. The answer is YES! People reports;
The 34-year-old 2023 Super Bowl Halftime performer took the stage in Phoenix Sunday dressed head-to-toe in bright red, revealing a baby bump, and becoming the first pregnant woman to star in the halftime show.
Rihanna played up the big reveal in the opening moments of her performance, rubbing her stomach and leaving the zipper of her outfit — a jumpsuit layered over a close-fitting bodysuit and sculpted bandeau — down to reveal her belly.
A rep for Rihanna confirmed the news to PEOPLE Sunday night.
Meanwhile as Rihanna did her death-defying show suspended above ground like she was on Circus of the Stars, A$AP Rocky was on the ground filming his lottery ticket lovely lady from the sidelines in support.

Now here’s the bad news, folks: you’re not getting a tour in 2023. It was speculated RiRi might be announcing an upcoming world tour after her Halftime performance. But now, with this announcement of billionaire baby number two, that clearly won’t be happening. So Congrats are in order! But not for A$AP and Rihanna. Congrats to the new baby on the way because they’re about to be very, very rich from day one.
