Patti LaBelle Was Rushed Offstage After A Bomb Threat At Her Show In Milwaukee

Now more than ever, we must protect our cultural icons at all costs! So I need to know the names of every security officer at Patti LaBelle‘s recent show in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, because they all need Congressional Medals of Honor. On Saturday night, Patti was enjoying an evening of kicking off shoes and shouting toward the heavens during her show at the Riverside Theater. But as someone was literally giving her flowers, security bum-rushed the stage like a Wu-Tang concert and whisked Patti away from the threat of imminent danger.

According to TMZ, the show was at an intermission while Patti was talking to the audience. I’m sure this was the time she set aside to discuss recipes and call everyone “honey” because you know Miss Patti is for the people! And in that respect, we love her just as much so when a bomb threat was phoned into the theater; security wasted no time grabbing her and rushing her offstage like she had become the new Rachel Marron in an impromptu reboot of The Bodyguard.

I feel sorry for whoever brought her those flowers because security tossed them to the side quicker than a used tissue. And also, I’m not sure what the hell is wrong with those people, but if I would have seen them escorting Patti away, then I, too, would have been escorting myself to the nearest exit. But thankfully, security didn’t just save Patti and leave everyone else behind to Google, “How do you disarm a bomb?“.
