Open Post: Hosted By Patti LaBelle Continuing Her Food Mogul Takeover With Frozen Chinese Dinners

Patti Labelle is coming out with her own hot new collection. No, not purses. No, not jewelry. No, not literally anything you’re thinking of. Unless you’re thinking of a collection of frozen Chinese make-at-home dinners, because then yes: you are correct. Patti is continuing her food-related entrepreneurial exploits and will be coming out with her very own brand of frozen Chinese food. If someone knows good Chinese food it’s… Patti LaBelle?

Page Six is reporting that Patti has turned the pie industry on its head with her collection of highly-successful pies sold at the exclusive upscale luxury retailer Walmart. In fact a new pie is available at Walmart right now! Patti realized that with Aretha Franklin no longer coming directly for her food entrepreneur neck (RIP Queen), she had a chance. A chance to expand! And that’s exactly what she is planning to do.

Patti has partnered with restauranteur Stratis Morfogen to create a line of frozen Chinese food which will be sold in supermarkets. They celebrated their new foray into the frozen Chinese food market at Morfogen’s restaurant, Brooklyn Chop House, with her business partners–her son Zuri Edwards, Alex Thompson and Charles Suitt. Of course Patti didn’t want to completely overshadow her previous child with news of her new child, so she made sure to prepare one of her very own signature pies for the party. That’s called cross-promotion; get that pie-dough, sis! (Get it!?!?!? Pie Dough??!)

Can’t wait to see what Patti’s collection has in store for us. I’m sure it will have a wide range from Patti’s Kickin’ Kung Pao Chicken to Patti’s Serenadin’ Sweet & Sour Pork. But mostly I can’t wait for the review for Patti’s frozen chinese food. The pie review was so enlightening:
