Teresa Giudice Of “Real Housewives Of New Jersey” Got Married Again

No, that isn’t a screengrab of the oldest person to ever get married on My Big Fat American G*ps* Wedding. That is a picture of 50-year-old Teresa Giudice and her new husband, 48-year-old Luis “Louie” Ruelas. Teresa was previously married to Joe Giudice for 20 years, but they divorced after his financial schemes dragged them both to prison and him to deportation. Eventually, Teresa moved on from Joe despite claiming to remain faithful to him for the three years he was in prison and now she’s with businessman, Luis. Luis knows the way to Teresa’s heart and proposed to her last October with a tacky, photographer-heavy moment, so yes, their wedding is exactly the same thing. Someone call Taylor Swift, she’s been replaced as the worst climate criminal–whoever hair-sprayed Teresa’s Bump-It is the newest CO2 emitter on the block.

Page Six says that the nuptials took place at the Park Château Estate & Gardens in scenic East Brunswick, New Jersey. There were 200 guests including several Housewives, like Dolores Catania and Jennifer Aydin from RHONJ who were bridesmaids alongside Teresa’s four daughters–Gia, 21, Gabriella, 18, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 13. Other Housewives who showed up were Margaret Josephs and Jackie Goldschneider from RHOBH, RHONY‘s Jill Zarin and Dorinda Medley, Alexia Echevarria from RHOMiami, and Chanel Ayan from the newest franchise, RHODubai. Someone working at Page Six definitely caught a check from Teresa or something because listen to this description of the wedding:

The ceremony took place in the gardens toward dusk, ending just as a stunning sunset began to cast a soft pink haze over the blissful scene.

Teresa’s gown was custom-made and she paid tribute to her Italian “fambly” on her veil:

The bride wore a custom Mark Zunino fitted strapless dress with a mermaid silhouette, paired with a sweeping veil embroidered with huge, interlinking hearts and the words “Sempre Insieme” – meaning, “Always Together.”

“The train was over 100 inches long accented in crystal and pearl details with long white beaded evening gloves to match,” Zunino told Page Six Style in a statement.

“I wanted to help Teresa pay tribute to her family in some way, so her veil was designed exclusively for her with three large hearts and the Italian phrase “Sempre Insieme.”” To top off the look, New Jersey native Giucide donned an enormous, glittering tiara and an even bigger ‘do.

Unfortunately for Teresa, her actual family members are not“Always Together” as her veil suggests. Her brother, Joe Gorga, and her sister-in-law and RHONJ co-star, Melissa Gorga, did not attend the wedding. The siblings have feuded for years, and Melissa has long-accused Teresa of not being supportive of their relationship. Shit hit the fan after the 13th season’s reunion taping. Whatever was said at the reunion was enough to have Melissa and Joe opt out of Teresa’s elegant evening, via People:

Two sources now tell PEOPLE exclusively what was behind their absence, explaining that Joe and Melissa had been planning on attending the wedding up until Thursday night, when false rumors about their marriage surfaced as the cameras rolled. Teresa’s part in the matter and Luis’s behavior amid their back and forth ultimately changed the Gorgas’ minds.

“Teresa betrayed them in a way that’s unforgivable,” one source reveals. “They’re not going to celebrate Teresa’s new marriage when all she does is try to tear apart theirs.”

“It’s telling that Teresa didn’t have one relative at her wedding,” notes the source, pointing to the absence of estranged cousins Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri too. “But that’s the choice Teresa made.”

Reps for the Gorgas, as well as Giudice and Ruelas did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment, but another insider says that the Gorgas decision was driven by a desire to protect themselves from the ongoing attacks they’ve received from Giudice over the years.

“Viewers will see, but after the continued attacks, it’s clear the healthiest thing for Joe and Melissa to do is walk away,” the insider says. “They just want to find peace, especially for their three children.”

“Melissa and Joe’s efforts to make family a priority with Teresa are exhausted,” the insider adds. “Sometimes removing the toxic energy from your life is the only way forward.”

Apparently, there are rumors that Teresa and her BFF Dina Manzo are also not getting along since Dina was supposed to be a bridesmaid but skipped the wedding as well. But some rumors suggest she was there but avoided any cameras. Which makes sense, I wouldn’t want to be photographed at such a tacky event either! Here are some photos:

What I need to know is: How much synthetic hair was used during this wedding? (Answer: ALL OF IT). Teresa’s hairstylist Lucia Casazza claims that Teresa’s bridal ‘do cost nearly $10,000 ($7,000 for the extensions and $2,500 for the styling). That is peak “it costs a lot of money to look this cheap.” And I’m sure that by the end of the night, Theresa was so lit that she lost most of her bridal weave on the lawn. And it was probably picked up the next morning by animal control who mistook it for a stray pooch in trauma.
