FYI: Chris Evans Is “Laser-Focused” On Finding A Partner

Chris plays a CIA bad guy who’s totally obsessed with hunting down a CIA good guy, played by Ryan Gosling. In a new interview with Shondaland, Chris is asked if he’s ever been as “laser-focused” with a search in his own life. Chris thinks about it for a moment, then answers that he’s “laser-focused on finding a partner.” Ohhh, so that’s why he’s been wearing Ray Bans on the red carpet! Bitch has those Cyclops laser-eyes! So, if you’re hanging out at the same bar as Chris Evans and you notice a tiny little red dot on your forehead, congratulations! You have been chosen!
41-year-old Chris was doing the interview with Ana de Armas, who plays the girl. Here’s exactly what he said, via Shondaland:
CE: Okay, good question. Thank you for a good question. My goodness. Laser focus — you know what? We’re gonna do this. I’m gonna give you a good answer.
ADA: I’m very curious to know.
CE: The answer would be that maybe [I’m] laser-focused on finding a partner, you know, someone that you want to live with. I mean, look — I love what I do. It’s great; I pour all of myself into it. But in terms of — even this industry is full of pockets of doubt, hesitation, and recalibration in terms of really trying to find someone that you really can pour all of yourself into. Maybe it’s about trying to find someone that you’re looking to spend your life with. Yes, so maybe it’s that.

As are as we know, Chris is currently single. Last fall there were rumors that he was seeing Selena Gomez, and the summer before that it was Lily James. Chris’ last public relationship was with Jenny Slate. They broke it off in March 2018. Since their split, Jenny has gotten married and had a baby. So Chris is looking for his life partner. Well, there’s really no rush. He’s only 41, and everybody knows a male movie star’s biological clock really doesn’t start ticking until their mid-fifties (see: George Clooney marrying at 53 and becoming a dad at 56).
