Bam Margera Is Missing After Reportedly Fleeing A Florida Rehab Facility
Usually, when I think of the Jackass guys, I think of watching their gross stunts with an amused kind of apprehension, with hands ready to cover my eyes as I waited for one of them to inevitably take a dump on someone or something. But for the past few years, Bam Margera has just been tough to watch, period, as he struggled with his addiction. He got kicked off of a flight for being drunk and asked Dr. Phil for help getting clean, said he was going to rehab but didn’t and got arrested for being drunk at a hotel, and then was involved in a lawsuit when Johnny Knoxville axed him from one of the Jackass movies for allegedly disobeying the “wellness agreement.” In concerning news, Bam has now been reported missing by a Florida rehab facility that he was court-ordered to attend.
Bam didn’t like the rehab’s services, so he asked to speak to the manager and said he wanted to leave–and then did. via TMZ:
According to a Delray Beach police report, the rehab facility’s manager reported the Jackass star missing on Monday. The manager says Bam told him he was unhappy with the place and their services…so he was splitting, which he apparently did.
The report notes Bam told the manager that instead of staying there, he’d be checking himself into a different rehab center in the area…and then left the premises in a black sedan.
According to the manager, Bam was there under a court order, and the staff was concerned he seemed to be leaving without authorization.
The cops looked for him the day he left, but weren’t able to track him down. Bam had previously completed a year of treatment for substance abuse and was seemingly doing well. The staff said that Bam didn’t appear like he wanted to harm himself or others, though he was recently going through some things that may be cause for worry:
Sources close to Bam tell TMZ…he was currently staying at a sober living facility and had recently got into an argument with his wife. We’re told he did have issues with the facilities’ restrictions and made the impulsive decision to leave.
Last month Bam had broken his wrist and elbow in a skateboarding accident and was blaming the facility for not setting up his physical therapy appointments.
His Instagram account was active as recently as yesterday, paying tribute to his late best friend, Ryan Dunn.

Hopefully, Bam just took a quick breather to grab one of those big ol’ Florida gators to prank April and Phil with again and get back on track and to a new rehab facility before making any more potentially self-destructive decisions. But in happier Bam news, Jackass is being revived and since Bam is no longer in with that crew, he doesn’t ever have to worry about going to the ER with a broken dick or a busted butthole after another stunt goes wrong, so at least there’s that.
