Kanye West Was Suspended From Instagram For 24 Hours For Violating Its Harassment Policy

Kanye West is on a timeout. Sadly, it’s just temporary. After harassing and dragging and threatening Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson on social media, Meta finally locked him out of his Instagram account. You could look at many of Kanye’s past IG posts and say, “Yeah, that’s what did it,” but it seems like the post that got Meta to snatch the key to his IG account out of his hands and hide it is the one where he repeatedly called Trevor Noah a racial slur for saying that his harassment of Kim could turn violent. But the suspension is only temporary and will be lifted later today, so tiptoe into Instagram today with caution because Kanye is probably going to rage after he’s let out of his timeout corner.

Even after Kim stated in court filings that Kanye’s social media messiness is causing her “emotional distress,”  he has kept at it. His most recent “hits” include saying that he’s afraid Pete will get Kim hooked on drugs and threatening to “hurt” DL Hughley after DL said in an interview that Kanye is stalking Kim. But now he’s on a 24-hour IG lockdown for being a harassing wreck. via TMZ:

Kanye West is being put in Instagram timeout after going after Kim, Pete, Pete’s writing partner and a racist attack on Trevor Noah.

A spokesperson for Meta tells us Kanye’s recent posts violated Instagram’s policies on hate speech, harassment and bullying. As a result, we’re told his account has been suspended for 24 hours — where he won’t be able to post, comment, send DM’s, among other things.

The spokesperson tells us they’ll take additional steps if further violations happen.

Kanye’s post where he hurled a racial slur at Trevor Noah has been removed so that may have done it. Trevor did respond to Kanye and I’m sure Kanye read every word and took it all to heart (the opposite of that):

So… how long until Kanye hops onto Twitter and starts the barrage of harassment anew? I mean, we know that as soon as this ban is up he’s going to be back to roasting “SKETE” as much as possible, which means he’s probably going to get banned for life from Instagram. Then he won’t be mad that 8-year-old North West is on social media, he’ll be begging her to open a secret account for him to continue his tirades.
