Kanye West Is Still Fighting With Kim Kardashian Over Their Daughter North’s TikTok Account (UPDATE)

February 4, 2022 / Posted by:

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s divorce has naturally evolved into a messy divorce, with Kanye being especially vocal when it comes to Kim’s parenting. The specific bee in Kanye’s bonnet at the moment is Kim’s choice to allow their 8-year-old daughter North West to have a TikTok account. Kanye is firmly on Team Get My Child Of TikTok, while Kim is on the other side telling Kanye to please give it a rest and stop publicly attacking her as a mother.

North West is objectively too young to be on social media, period (this is coming from a person who was terrified of getting bullied off ICQ at fifteen, so take my opinion with a grain of salt). But also according to the terms of service, North is technically too young to be on the platform. Users under the age of 13 are put into a group called TikTok for Younger Users, to, you know, protect younger users. But Kim found a little bit of a loophole for that. North’s account is called @kimandnorth, and her bio reads: “Me and my bestie, managed by an adult.” Kim features heavily on North’s TikTok account, which currently has 5.5 million followers and a combined total of 60.2 million video likes.

If this video proves anything, it’s that Kim owes Amy Poehler a sincere apology for ripping off her “I’m not a regular mom, I’m a cool mom” vibe from Mean Girls. But if you ask Kanye, he’ll say it’s proof that someone needs to intervene and save his daughter!!! Yes, he’s being that dramatic about it.

Kanye has previously called out Kim for letting 8-year-old North be on TikTok, claiming that he has not given his permission for North to be on social media. I mean, it might be different if North was on Kanye’s Christian-approved SaviorTok or whatever, but she’s on regular ol’ TikTok, and he’s not having it. Kanye escalated the situation earlier today, by posting a message to Instagram asking why the mother of his child is allowing his kid on the platform.

We don’t have to wait for Kim to film a TikTok rebuttal to find out how she feels about Kanye calling her out like that on her own turf (Instagram). Kim returned to Instagram and posted the following statement, accusing Kanye of being the mess here, not the child posting little videos to TikTok.

Kanye has yet to respond to Kim’s statement on the matter. That could be because he’s too busy going over his credit card statement to see how much it ended up costing to gift five Hermès Birkin bags to the friends of his current real girl doll, Julia Fox, in honor of her 32nd birthday. But Page Six says he’d be looking at a starting price of $10,000 each.

It’s also not known how Kanye might proceed with this situation. But I have a feeling it will be an embarrassing day for Kanye when he brings this to his lawyers. Poor Kanye West. Those lawyers will look at Kanye, and look at all the printed out proof of Kim and North’s TikTok account. After side-eyeing each other, they’ll eventually ask: “Kanye, you married an attention-craving social media celebrity, and now you’re shocked that they would pass the baton down to the next generation. Can we also ask if you just recently woke up from some sort of daytime soap opera amnesia situation?

UPDATE: And Kanye has kept the messiness going by responding and blaming one of Kim’s friends for manipulating her:
