Maksim Chmerkovskiy Drags Kirstie Alley Over Her Comments About Russian’s Invasion Of Ukraine

While many of us are sending thoughts of support to the people of Ukraine after Putin invaded their country, SOME “I’m just asking questions” individuals are wondering if all those news images of bombings are actually real. And those people are named Kirstie Alley! Add this moronic take to Kirstie’s ever-growing list of asinine comments. Thankfully, her former Dancing with the Stars partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy took her to task!

Maks is a Ukrainian citizen who is currently in his home country and has been sharing social media updates of his experience in the capital of Kyiv. He would know a thing or two about what’s real or fake! via People:

Maks Chmerkovskiy is calling his former Dancing with the Stars partner Kirstie Alley out after she posted about the war in Ukraine on Twitter.

In a since-deleted Tweet that Chmerkovskiy, 42, reposted to his Instagram Story on Saturday, Alley, 71, wrote, “I don’t know what’s real or what is fake in this war. So I won’t be commenting. I’ll pray instead.”

Chmerkovskiy — who was born in Ukraine and has been in the country during the ongoing Russian invasion — shared his own message in response to Alley’s tweet. He wrote over the screenshot, “Dear Kirstie, we haven’t spoken in a while, but I clearly remember being right next to you while you were organizing trucks of aid during Hurricane Sandy and I remember all that you were saying to me about situations where innocent are suffering.”

“That same energy is needed right now. No one needs your prayer if you don’t know what’s real or fake,” he added.

Poor Maks shouldn’t have to be seeing combat AND shutting down stupid comments on the internet! If Kirstie has problems understanding what constitutes reality, then she should be speaking to a therapist about that. Oh wait… The former actress has since deleted the tweet, so we can rest assured that she’s learned her lesson. HAHA, of course, she hasn’t!

(She’s recently posted some links pointing to places where people can donate to help Ukraine, so at least there’s that.)

No one is asking Kirstie to be an expert. We’re just asking that she stop tweeting whatever ingenious thought comes into her brain! I would hope that she’d just stop posting her critical analysis of the invasion, but then we’d get a steady stream of very real drug stories and “freedom fighting” Canadian truckers! Unfortunately, there’s no winning when it comes to Kirstie!
