Lena Dunham May Have Tried To Kiss Brad Pitt On The Mouth, With Poor Results (For Lena)

The cursed image burned into our retinas of Lena Dunham lifting her skirt to show Brad Pitt her kewpie doll tattoo has a new friend. Make room for your mind’s eye’s newest roommate: Lena dressed in whatever scraps she was able to pull out of the vacuum cleaner after tidying up backstage at The Cher Show, trying to plant a fat kiss on Brad’s reluctant mouth on the red carpet for Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Or maybe she was trying to get Brad to shotgun her a hit of the good stuff. Either way, he did not acquiesce and left her high and dry. Well, she might have gotten herself a little bottom lip stach tickle, which will hopefully be enough to keep her Brad spank bank balance from dipping into the red.

Us Weekly reports:

Lena Dunham only had eyes for costar Brad Pitt on the red carpet for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’s London premiere on Tuesday, July 30.

The former Girls star, 33, approached Pitt once cast photos were finished and planted a kiss on the Oscar winner. The duo were surrounded by costars Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie, Damian Lewis and director Quentin Tarantino.

Here ya go.

I guess you can’t blame a girl for trying, only if this had been reversed, I think most people would argue that you can blame a man for trying. Brad seemed unfazed, but who knows what type of PTSD he might be suffering from. Do you think he slept at all that night, or did he stay up tossing and turning with visions of kewpie dolls, their little puckered mouths and greedy outstretched hands coming at him from all angles, desperate for a taste of his precious bodily fluids?

Naturally, there were some hot takes.

Some funny takes.

And some, um, other takes.

Some have suggested that this kissus interruptus is actually just the result of a mutual kiss on the cheek awkwardly captured mid-embrace. But it is Lena we’re talking about here, so it seems like something she’d pull. However, I’ll reserve judgement (if not schadenfreude) until Brad comes out of therapy and tells us how he felt about the moment.
