Anna Faris And Her Man Michael Barrett Eloped At The Courthouse
Anna Faris, the blonde TV actress/podcaster who doesn’t totally cause you to sprain your eyeballs from excessive rolling (Yes, I’m talking about Kristen Bell), dropped the news on her podcast, Anna Faris Is Unqualified, that she got married again. Anna and her fiancé Michael Barrett had a little casual courthouse wedding in Washington State. I’m sure the courthouse officiant swooned out of their shoes when Anna said in her vows, “And I promise not to give you away on Twitter if you shit on the carpet or if my son sneezes around you.”
44-year-old Anna Faris and 51-year-old cinematographer Michael Barrett got together in 2017 and got engaged a long time ago, according to her one-time Mom co-star Allison Janney. They met while working on the dead fish reboot of Overboard. Everybody involved in that butchery of a flawless classic should’ve been jailed, but luckily for Anna and Michael, they weren’t and now they’re married. After Michael was papped with a wedding band on his hitchin’ finger this week, Anna said on the recent episode of her podcast that she and Michael eloped in Washington. via People:
“I’m looking around.. my fiancé’s right — he’s now my husband. Yes, we eloped,” she said during a conversation with a caller. “It was awesome, yeah, it was great.”
While Faris didn’t share many details about the nuptials, she added, “It was at a local courthouse up in Washington State, it was great.”
Michael Barrett is Anna Faris’ third husband. She was married to Ben Indra from 2004 to 2008. And of course, she and Chris Pratt were the original Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard. They were married from 2009 to 2018. They share one son together: 8-year-old Jack Pratt. After Anna and Chris split up, she said that she’s not sure about getting married again, but I guess being with Michael Barrett changed her mind.
Anna and Michael join a growing list of famous people (like Ariana Grande and ScarJo) who have married on the shush during this pandemic. I know, what is going on with celebrities not throwing an extravagant PR wedding for maximum attention and money?! Thank God for Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s never-ending and insufferable marriage coverage. There’s a rumor that Jennifer Lopez is ready for Ben Affleck to become her latest fiancé. They won’t do this, but they better not get married in an “intimate” and “private” little courthouse ceremony without photographers, a camera crew, and several editors from People Magazine as guests. The sanctity of the celebrity famewhore wedding is at stake!
