Rihanna And A$AP Rocky Spread Their Love In NYC (And Nearly Got Denied By A Bar Bouncer Who Didn’t Recognize Them)
Last night Rihanna and her official boyfriend A$AP Rocky went out on a special date night in New York City. The plan was to hit up Barcade, which is, wait for it, a bar with arcade games. Honestly? Sounds like the type of place I’d go to, which means it’s not even close to cool enough for Riri and A$AP. Nevertheless, the couple graced Barcade with their presence and were immediately swarmed by paps and fans. But rather than roll out the red carpet for their distinguished guests, Barcade security had the audacity to stop their hot celebrity asses from entering! Apparently, the bouncer didn’t recognize either A$AP or Rihanna (hmmm, a Blast from the Past situation or 20-year coma?) and told them he needed to see their IDs. Hey, Rihanna should be flattered. 33 and still getting IDed? There’s her next Fenty Beauty ad.
A few minutes later Rihanna and A$AP were let into Barcade without incident but the entire thing was filmed. Here’s the video of Riri n’ Rocky exiting their car, getting papped, arriving at Barcade, having to wait for the bouncer to get his shit together while fans ogle and scream at them, and then finally getting ushered in:

Eyewitnesses say once inside Rihanna and A$AP looked like they were having fun playing video games. They also packed on the PDA, with an eyewitness saying, via E! News:
“She was leaning into him and nuzzling his neck,” an onlooker said. “They both lit up and had big smiles on their faces. They seemed happy and in love. They never left each other’s side all night and were always holding each other and kissing. She pulled him in close and didn’t want to let him go. He just kept looking at her and smiling. They had a great time and showed each other plenty of affection on a fun night out.”
Another civilian says that A$AP Rocky bought him shots cuz he was really good at a Ninja Turtles game:
“They came in and were really friendly to everyone,” actor and model Kyle Price exclusively told E! News. “My friend and I were playing Ninja Turtles Time Warp and were really into it. A big crowd of people started to join in and play with us. It got so spirited that eventually Rih and A$AP came over and started cheering us on, too. A$AP Rocky bought us all a round of shots to keep us encouraged, and Rih was cheering us on, too! Eventually we won the game and celebrated.”
