Open Post: Hosted By Justin Bieber Pretending Diplo Had The Wrong Number

June 20, 2021 / Posted by:

Justin Bieber has some ‘splaining to do, and for once this isn’t about his eye-assaulting, repeat offenses with launching Crocs collaborations, but we are still all totally owed restitution for those blinding, hole-punched messes, and one day he’s gonna pay. Today’s shifty transgression features Diplo, and while this fuckery is not of the foot-shaming variety, it does underscore the shadiness of Biebs’ character that ultimately led to the launch of his design empire, so its awfulness can’t be understated.

Yesterday, Diplo posted a TikTok that featured a very short text conversation between himself and Justin Bieber that ended with Biebs pretending that he had the wrong number. So this took place in 2017. Now fast-forward to present day and out of nowhere, a text from the same number magically appeared and Diplo had a “Well, well, well” moment when the sender identified himself as none other than Biebs, now adding “lying liar who lies” to his list of crimes against humanity (his “music” still hasn’t been driven from first place from that list).

Here is the full exchange:

at least I wasn’t ghosted

The nerve of Biebs here, slithering back from his new haircut four years later to ask for what appears to be a favor. Run, Diplo, run! Biebs doesn’t care about you or any of us, and for all you know, he’ll try to make it up to you with a custom pair of Crocs from his next cursed collection.
