Adrien Brody And Georgina Chapman Are Now Red Carpet Official

It’s hard to imagine being able to top playing connect the dots every night in bed with convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein‘s knobby, speckled constellation of back-colonizing skin tags. But somehow Georgina Chapman managed to break the alluringly hypnotic grip back in 2018 when they divorced after she’d claimed she was shocked to discover that her then-husband’s busted relief map of skin protrusions (and the rest of the bloated, abusive, he-beast carcass from which they’d sprouted) had been forced on countless other women who hadn’t actually signed up for the dubious privilege of tending to them but found themselves faced with it, anyway.

In 2019, Georgina connected with a dashing new flesh playground in the form of Adrien Brody. Their coupledom has mostly remained off the radar due to both the fallout from Harvey’s spectacular takedown and the pap-stroll-repellent pandemic. At last night’s premiere of Adrien’s new thriller Clean at the Tribeca Film Festival in NYC, the couple finally went public.

Georgina Chapman and her boyfriend Adrien Brody made their long-awaited red carpet debut on Saturday evening for the premiere of his new crime thriller Clean.

The 45-year-old ex-wife of convicted sex offender and former film producer Harvey Weinstein walked the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City with the 48-year-old Oscar-winning actor by her side.

The pair reportedly began their relationship in March of 2020, with the ongoing coronavirus having kept them out of the spotlight until now.

Here they are at last night’s premiere:

Now, while this coupling is an obvious upgrade for Georgina in some ways (Adrien’s magnificent nose is far more glamorous than a bleak battalion of clammy skin growths on a convicted sex offender), she’s still chosen here to attach herself to a man with a serious WTF are you thinking?” stance on other sexual predators in the entertainment industry like Woody AllenBill Cosby, and Roman Polanski.

If you recall, it was Adrien’s work in Roman’s 2002 film The Pianist that yielded the then 29-year-old an Academy Award for Best Actor. His justifications for not condemning the acts of these men (linked above) were a side-stepping jumble of “separating art from artist” and “I don’t really pay attention this fodder, you know.

Remarks like these lead to nothing but dumpster fires no wants to put out, so I’ll just admit right here that when asked, I proudly profess my deep appreciation for Ernie and Bert and am able to enjoy the lofty range of high art they bring me and my deep hunger for culture while having no problem ignoring their hacksaw-cut hairdos that are a crime in themselves. So I totally relate to the art/artist dilemma. So now that Adrien and Georgina are on the radar with their relationship, he may be asked how he feels about Georgina’s ex’s laundry list of heinous sex crimes, and it’ll be interesting to see if his perspective has changed, and what Georgina has to say about it.

With that being said, congratulations to Georgina, whose current man isn’t a wonk-faced, grunting freak running around rage-jizzing in potted plants, and whom she has to play connect the dots with now (just some fetching freckles that totally form a mischievous grin) in bed.
