Eiza González Slapped Back At Someone Who Suggested She’s Been Tipping Off The Paparazzi

Eiza González was in Baby Driver and that terrible Jem and The Holograms movie and dated Timothée Chalamet, but if you’re a random hater, then you know Eiza best as a fame whore who keeps calling the paparazzi. And if you’re that type of person, you should also know that Eiza González is more than happy to publicly correct you on such an accusation.

31-year-old Eiza will appear next in the upcoming Godzilla vs. Kong, which is set to be released at the end of March. And as such, she’s on a little press tour, which has her making stops here and there at various media outlets, like Jimmy Kimmel Live, which she taped earlier this week. Paps usually set up outside of JKL to get pictures of guests going in and so they got pics of Eiza:

Not really too much to criticize here, but as Page Six points out, one Instagram user was feeling particularly shady yesterday, and left the following comment:

“Guess who called the paparazzi?”

Eiza then hopped into the comments and schooled that Instagram commenter with a really long response:

“Reading the sarcasm of your message I felt the need to answer your question. I’ve never in my ENTIRE career called or ‘tipped off’ a paparazzi. To the point that I would encourage any paparazzi to come forward and prove that I have if such thing has been done. I’ve nothing to worry about. I’d encourage you not to believe everything you reading in gossip sites. What they’re [sic] intention is, is to sell. At all costs. I like to live my life private as possible. For the rest of my life.

I’m unsure you know this, but paparazzi make a living out of pictures. Hence why they park outside our homes and follow us until they get a shot. Again. Got nothing to hide. But I won’t let you or anyone slander me by something that was made up by a gossip site to victimize they’re favorite male and villainize [sic] a woman who has been working non stop since I was a child for a juicier narrative. I don’t need no man or photos to give me a career. I’ve worked pretty hard to be where I am. Wishing you the best this Thursday!”

Apparently, Eiza is familiar with some gossipy whisperers that claim she’s got the paps on speed dial, although this is the first I’m hearing about it. I was not familiar with that part of her reputation! But I can go ahead and immediately forget it because according to her, it’s totally NOT true. Got it! But because of that, Ben Affleck just crossed Eiza’s name off his list of potential girlfriends.
