Forbes Again Announced That Kylie Jenner Topped Their Highest-Paid Celebrities Of 2020 List
Even though Forbes shit all over Kylie Jenner and her Koven when they revealed that they had been duped into believing Kylie was a billionaire, that doesn’t mean she isn’t still the richest person ever. Almost literally. Kylie has been named the highest-paid celebrity of the year and it’s not even close. While the rest of the world was losing their jobs and wondering how to pay for rent and food amid coronavirus, Kylie was increasing her revenue stream from the previous year. All right, time to be mad at Kylie Jenner for having too much money again.
Now you may be thinking to yourself, “But wait, wasn’t Kylie already named the highest-paid trick of the year.” And you’re right, she was back in September. But I guess that Forbes didn’t think you heard them the first time so they wanted to cram down our throats once more just how wealthy 100 people in the world are compared to the billions of us struggling. Thanks, Forbes! Just in time for Christmas!
BuzzFeed says that Kylie was able to rake in $590 million this year and earned more than the rest of the top five of the list combined. I guess people love mediocre-quality lip kits from fame whores? Apparently, most of the money Kylie made came from her sale of Kylie Cosmetics to Coty Inc. for $600 million, which was announced at the end of last year.
For some reference to just how rich Kylie is, the next top earner was Kanye West who made $170 million, then Roger Federer who made $106.3 million, Cristiano Ronaldo who made $105 million, and soccer player Lionel Messi who made $104 million. More bullshit from the list includes The Chainsmokers who pulled in $68 million and somehow out-earned Taylor Swift‘s $63.5 million.
But I guess a congratulations goes out to Kris Jenner who managed to rake in millions for her absolutely work-free 10% momager fee. And that’s just one Koven member.
