Harvey Weinstein Is Really Sick In Prison, Might Have COVID-19

We all know that ever since Harvey Weinstein was made to finally be held accountable for his actions, he’s done the absolute most to convince us all that he’s a very sick old man, and not a “sick old man” in the way most people would apply the term. Sources are saying that Harvey is actually sick-sick, and may have coronavirus.

This news comes from TMZ, and if it feels like a bit of a rerun, that’s probably because we’ve already heard once before that 68-year-old Harvey caught COVID-19 in prison (where he’s serving 23 years). Back in March, several sources claimed that Harvey had tested positive for corona, which they believe he caught at Rikers Island. He was then transferred to Wende Correctional Facility near Buffalo, NY, and the DOC wouldn’t say whether Harvey had it, but did confirm that two inmates at Wende did test positive. Harvey’s lawyers would only say that Harvey was placed in isolation, and refused to comment on whether it was corona that put him there.

Law enforcement sources are telling TMZ that Harvey was tested yesterday for corona, and he’s still waiting for the results. If that’s not enough to bring a smile to your face and wrap your heart in a warm hug, there’s also this:

Our sources say Weinstein has various health problems which complicate his current illness. The sources are clear…he has various symptoms that are very serious. The sources say Weinstein’s current battle is anything but a mild case…we’re told given his overall health, his age and current illness – he is at extreme risk.

The sources say that Harvey has been placed in a 72-hour isolation, just to make sure he doesn’t get anyone else sick. Harvey has heart problems, which is a big red flag for anyone trying to avoid coronavirus. Harvey’s lawyers reached out to TMZ for a comment on this situation, and once again, they didn’t want to give anyone any specifics on Harvey’s health. But they would say that he’d not doing so great.

“It should come as no surprise that Mr. Weinstein has numerous maladies and conditions including a heart condition, high blood pressure and spinal stenosis. We are working with the NYSDOCCS and the excellent team at Wende CF to ensure Mr. Weinstein receives the proper medical attention he needs.”

There is a chance it’s not COVID. A fever could mean the flu or food poisoning. Or maybe Harvey just slept with too many blankets on his hibernating razorback body, and his internal temp got too high. Who knows, but I do love how Harvey’s lawyers worded that statement. The proper medical attention he needs. Notice that they didn’t say, “The best medical attention he deserves“? To be fair, we’d never know if they tried to say that because it would have been drowned out by the sound of the Wende CF medical team laughing their asses off. You know the Hippocratic Oath is the only thing preventing them from tossing Harvey an expired bottle of Flintstone vitamins and saying, “This is about the level of care you deserve.”
