Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are doing better after revealing they had coronavirus two weeks ago. Since telling us that they both have corona, they’ve been giving us updates on their condition, and so have their sons. Well, Tom wants us to know that they’re doing great and we should stay inside. And while Tom says that they’re feeling better, it seems like Rita still has a fever, which is the only explanation for her rapping.
Tom posted to Twitter saying he and Rita were doing great and we should all stay indoors to stop coronavirus.

And Rita decided to show us where her son Chet Haze got his Jamaican patois accent from, and showed us her rap skills. Rita posted a video of her rapping along to Naughty By Nature‘s Hip Hop Hooray.
Vin Rock from Naughty By Nature reposted the video and shouted Rita out:

Gayle King reached out to Rita after the video was posted, and Rita said that she had to memorize the rap for a movie she did years ago called Boy Genius and she just wanted to see if she still had it. Gayle said:
“[Rita] said she had done it in a movie years ago called Boy Genius and she had memorized it and wanted to see if [she] could still remember it… and she did… Good job, Rita Wilson, it is good to know they are both getting better… I thought what an odd choice and she goes, “No, no, it’s in a movie”. I would’ve never put hip-hop and Rita together, but there you go. And she’s good at it too!”
I would never put Rita’s son Chet Haze and hip-hop together either, but there you go. And he’s bad at it too! I’m so afraid this will resurrect Chet’s music career. I mean, because many of us are self-isolating, Chet has time to write more hits like his cover of Black And Yellow called White And Purple:
Play this song in public spaces and we won’t have to worry about idiots refusing to quarantine. The streets will empty immediately!
