Justin Timberlake Possibly Remains In The Doghouse
I don’t know if Justin Timberlake is the type of person to make New Year’s resolutions. But if he is, then there’s only one resolution he should have made for 2020, and that’s to be the type of husband who doesn’t get caught holding hands with women who aren’t his wife. Or maybe he promised not to drink so much that he forgets whose hand he’s holding. The bad news for Justin is that no matter what he has said he was or wasn’t going to do this year, it allegedly hasn’t been enough to placate his wife Jessica Biel.
A source tells Us Weekly that Jessica is still pissed about the mess-ica (I had to, I’m sorry) Justin made of their marriage back in November by getting caught holding the hand of his Palmer co-star Alisha Wainwright at a bar in New Orleans. Justin publicly apologized, and it was reported that he was going to work very hard on being a good husband and father to 4-year-old Silas. About a month ago, it was reported that any goodwill Justin was trying to build wasn’t working for Jessica, and that she was still really mad about the whole situation. One month later, and it sounds worse.
“He has been making big promises and not sticking to them as much as she thinks he can and should,” the source adds. “He promised that he would be more involved with their family and she doesn’t feel like he’s doing that.”
It has been said that Jessica didn’t want to end her marriage over this, but this quote from Us Weekly’s source seems to throw a ramen-haired wrench into things. Although if you ask another source that spoke to Us Weekly, they’ll tell you everything is a-ok.
Another source close to the couple tells Us that “Jessica and Justin are not in a tense place at all.”
Jessica, Justin, and Silas also allegedly “reconnected” as a family during a post-holidays staycation at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles last week. A source says they went out for dinner and generally “kept to themselves.” Another source that spoke with Us Weekly last week said that Jessica still isn’t happy about what happened, but that they’re ok.
Which is it? Is getting wined and dined enough to make Jessica move on, or is she at home furiously writing up a checklist titled Justin’s Broken Promises. Is Justin doing enough just by flirting with his wife on Instagram, and hitting up Trivago for a hotel room a couple miles from his house? Does Jessica expect more, like for Justin to release an entire album of songs dedicated to how sorry he is, a la Robin Thicke? Do you? Is that why Justin Tuimberlake rushed back into the recording studio right after he wrapped filming on Palmer?
Jessica, no! That’s asking too much. If you want a corny, sappy, un-listenable album, throw on Man of the Woods.
