Cupcakke Has Announced That She’s Quitting Music

There is something very depressing going on with rapper Cupcakke, who–after a Twitter tirade dragging the shit out of fake true lovers Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello calling one racist and the other gay (guess which is which)–posted a very bizarre Instagram Live video where she announced she’s retiring from music. Not only that, but she said she’s canceling her upcoming tour, and taking all of her music off of streaming platforms.

Uproxx says that Cupcakke’s road to announcing her retirement started by calling out Camila Cabello. While she never called out Camila by name, she didn’t have to. In tweets that have since been deleted, along with Cupcakke’s entire account, she wrote:

“Your ‘fav‘ that use to be in that lil pop group is racist but WBK (we been knew).”

Asked who she meant by “fav,” Cupcakke replied:

“The one that’s dating the fine gay guy.”

I mean… that’s pretty specific. Claims of Camila’s racism were also exposed in receipt form by other commenters, but apparently people think that these screenshots are doctored:

Cupcakke then claimed she fucked Camila’s man and has receipts:

“Yes sis …. I fucked your man … & I did it on purpose since your racist & that’s the TEA ‼ let’s tell the world become I grab the receipts.”

I’m not sure if she was talking about Shawn Mendes there, because if she simply side-hugged Shawn Mendes, his team would probably leak it to every tabloid in the world. But I figured Cupcakke was hacked because there’s no way she’s pretending to have had sex with Shawn Mendes. Shit then got real.

XXL Mag says Cupcakke then went on Instagram Live where she cried while wrapped in what looks like a hotel bed sheet, and started with the ominous sentence, “So, this live will be the last video that y’all see of me.” Cupcakke admitted she looked “crazy as fuck right now” before getting into a long explanation about why she’s retiring and how she made up that Camila/Shawn thing for attention.

“All my career, y’all have known me to be a nice girl, which I am. Recently, the past night, and today, I just been sporadic. It’s because I wanted to get as much attention as possible to let y’all know that I will no longer be doing music. And all of my music will be coming off every platform. I decided to give up. I decided to give up. I don’t want to say give up, let go music because I feel as though I’m corrupting the youth.”

Apparently, Cupcakke watched a video of a 13-year-old dancing to one of her songs and it shook her so hard she decided to quit music. She also admitted to having a gambling addiction, which caused her to lose $700,000 at a casino last September.

In the video Cupcakke also said, “I want to go to Heaven after this.” But if Cupcakke’s song Duck Duck Goose hasn’t already gotten her into Heaven, then I don’t want to go to there.

Cupcakke has had issues with depression before this. This past January she was hospitalized after making a suicidal tweet, later explaining she was being cared for and was okay.

This whole thing gives me bad vibrations: someone needs to be checking on her immediately. Who was recording? Do you hear them breathing hard in the background? Someone get Wheezy an inhaler and get Cupcakke away from them!
