Wendy Williams Stepped Out Without Her Wedding Ring
It was just a few short weeks ago that Wendy Williams channeled the ghost of Charlton Heston and told us somebody’d have to pry her wedding ring from her cold dead hands. Well, I guess Hell done froze over because even though she said we’d never see her without her wedding ring on “in this lifetime”, Wendy was spotted leaving her sober house about 20 lbs of diamonds lighter. Maybe she had to hock it on Diamonds4Diapers.com to pay for her husband Kevin Hunter‘s rumored new baby.

The Wendy Williams Show host, 54, was spotted leaving her New York City sober living home without any jewelry on her left hand. She tried to keep a low profile by wearing the hood of her animal-print puffer jacket over her head. Later on Monday, she slipped her ring back on for a taping of her syndicated talk show.
Of course there could be plenty of good reasons for her to leave her rocks off while living in the sober house. But speculation about her alleged marital woes has hit an all-time high since Kevin’s alleged mistress, Sharina Hudson, reportedly just gave birth to a baby girl, according to gossip vlogger Tasha K. This comes on the heels of a Daily Mail exclusive that claimed Sharina has been insisting Kevin leave Wendy so he can dedicate himself full-time to his new family. And Kevin allegedly told her no, because Wendy pays all his bills. DM speculates that this tension is what drove Wendy to drink and abuse prescription pills.
Sources for DM claim that Kevin and Wendy got into a fight about Sharina in December that led to Wendy breaking her arm and taking a 2-month break from hosting The Wendy Williams Show. After the fight, Wendy was reportedly ready to leave him, but he convinced her to go to counseling instead because he needed to maintain his revenue stream for himself and Sharina. DM says Wendy is “brainwashed” by Kevin (who is also her manager) and Entertainment Weekly claims that he’s the one who convinced her to stay in the sober house because “he wanted Wendy out of the way when the baby arrived”.
A second source claims that, when it comes to her career, Williams is completely controlled by her husband, and the source speculates that it’s a major factor in why she doesn’t leave him. “Wendy struggles to make any business decisions without him,” the source says.
Apparently Charlamagne tha God, who was Wendy’s old radio show sidekick, also believes that Kevin is responsible for her troubles. According to Page Six, Kevin and Charlamagne used to be good friends but stopped speaking to each other in 2009 when Kevin got possessive of Sharina.
“The reason Kevin Hunter and I fell out, and the reason why I don’t communicate with Wendy anymore is because of Sharina, Kevin got upset because he thought Sharina liked one of my homeboys and he thought that I was hooking Sharina up [with other men].”
Charlamagne says that Kevin grew more and more controlling, eventually firing him and telling him to never speak to Wendy again, adding “you are dead to us”.
He added that Williams — whom friends have described as being totally under the control of her husband, who manages all of her affairs — hasn’t spoken to him since, and even denied knowing who he was during an interview with Elvis Duran.
Sounds like somebody needs to set up a rescue party for Wendy. Maybe Howard Stern could earn some much needed “of the people” points by helping a sister out by dragging Kevin for a couple of hours on his show.
