James Woods Was Dropped By His Agent On Independence Day

James Woods has recently found himself without an agent. Yes, James had an agent, but that agent recently quit, proving with absolute certainty that even when you’re getting paid to deal with James Woods, it still isn’t worth it. But it’s the way his agent quit that will make you feel extra-warm today.

On July 4th, James Woods rang in Independence Day by posting a screenshot of the resignation email he received from his now-former agent, Ken Kaplan. Ken was clearly feeling the BBQ mood of July 4th, because he roasted James to patriotic perfection.

I’m so used to watching James Woods getting his ass handed to him on Twitter, I must say it’s a nice chance of pace to see him get dunked on in an email.

Ken Kaplan didn’t specify why he was dropping James Woods. It’s fairly obvious why though. Ken, a “political liberal” according to James Woods, probably got sick of watching his client slobber at the feet of Donald Trump. Or maybe it was the homophobic tweets. Or maybe it was the tasteless sexism of a recent tweet aimed at Senator Elizabeth Warren. Either way, James decided to do his own damage control by pulling some “free speech” BS in his response, as well as leaving on a supremely insincere farewell.

“Dear Ken, I don’t actually. I was thinking if you’re feeling patriotic, you would appreciate free speech and one’s right to think as an individual. Be that as it may, I want to thank you for all your hard work and devotion on my behalf. Be well.”

Now that James Woods is without an agent, how ever will he get work? I suppose he could call up Roseanne and ask for advice. Then again, I don’t know how interested James would be in that. Talking to a woman who isn’t two decades or less in age? No thanks.
