Victoria Beckham Is “14 Engagement Rings” Rich

Not long after the rumor resurfaced that Victoria Beckham and David Beckham were ending their 19-year marriage, The Sun reported that they’re not splitting up, because they’ve got a $500 million brand to keep alive. Something as abstract as “a $500 million brand” is a bit hard to visualise, but thankfully The Sun has put it into a perspective I can handle: fancy jewelry! See that giant yellow rock on Vicky’s finger? Apparently that’s just one of 14 engagement rings in her collection.

All of Victoria’s engagement rings are from David. According to The Sun, David proposed in 1998 with a £65,000 (or $85,380) marquise diamond ring. She debuted her most recent one at the Dior Mens SS19 show at Paris Fashion Week last week. This one is a square-cut yellow diamond worth £120,000 (or a little over $157,600).

The Sun claims that new ring represents her and David’s 18th wedding anniversary. Here’s a breakdown of Victoria’s ring upgrades over the years, according to The Sun:

1998 – Original engagement ring
2001 – Platinum band covered in diamonds
2003 – Huge emerald-cut diamond ring, reportedly worth $1.6 million
2004 – Pink diamond ring
2005 – Pear-cut diamond ring, reportedly worth $2.6 million
2007 – An emerald-cut yellow diamond worth almost $1 million
2007 – Clearly wasn’t a fan of that yellow stone, because a month later she traded it in for a giant green emerald ring, also almost $1 million
2008 – Another huge emerald-cut diamond ring like in 2003, but this one was reportedly worth $2.17 million
2009 – An eyeball-sized ruby worth a little over $1 million
2010 – A bright-blue stone
2012 – Another emerald-cut yellow diamond
2015 – A moonstone surrounded by diamonds
2016 – Another massive emerald-cut diamond

Now she’s back to another yellow diamond again. In total, Victoria’s engagement ring finger has seen no less than $10 million in diamonds and metal over the span of two decades. If David wants to save some cash, he should rummage around through her jewelry box and just start giving her her old rings. Although she might start to catch on when she gets her “fourth” emerald-cut yellow diamond.
