David And Victoria Beckham Might Not Divorce To Keep Their £500 Million Brand Alive
The rumor going around is that after 19 years of marriage, Victoria Beckham and David Beckham are over. Some people on Twitter claimed that David has knocked up their daughter’s teacher, and it was only a matter of time before they called it quits. Both their reps denied such a thing was about to take place, and Victoria, David, and their whole family were full steam ahead for an upcoming photo spread in Vogue. Some might assume they’re staying together for the kids. According to The Sun (hold out your palms while I distribute these salt grains), Posh and Becks are also staying together for the money.
The Sun writes that despite what their reps would lead you to believe, there is trouble in their marriage. David is in Miami where he’s building a soccer stadium and Victoria is having a really hard time adjusting to living without him. The Sun says she’s visited him just once. They also say that David doesn’t like how much their four children – Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper – appear on Victoria’s social media. He’s also not too crazy about all of them appearing in Vogue next month.
Then there’s the whole money issue, which we’ve heard before. Victoria’s fashion label isn’t turning a huge profit, so David has had to step in and help. In 2016, he put about $6.7 million into the company to keep it afloat. However, even with his help, losses reportedly grew to $11.4 million last year.
Although they might be sinking money into Victoria’s business, they’re still bringing in a ton of cash. Victoria and David Beckham are reportedly worth half a billion pounds. Relax Posh, I’m talking money, not weight. Of course, that’s their combined net worth, as in how much they’re worth as Victoria & David, The Couple.
With that being said, you can probably count out the idea of hearing more rumors about their divorce. At least for a little while. The Mirror is reporting that a woman who works at the public relations firm The Communications Store in London has been suspended from her job. She allegedly set out an email to her family on Friday, “confirming” the rumors that the Beckhams were headed for splitsville. Both Victoria and David were reportedly furious about that email. At least they’re united about something? Wait a minute – forget about the kids and the money. I’m starting to think that denying divorce rumors might be the glue that is holding them together.
