Aaron Carter Is Talking About His Messy Relationship With Nick Carter

Nick Carter and Aaron Carter. It was a much simpler time. A time before Aaron was accusing Nick of capitalizing on Aaron’s DUI arrest in Georgia last month for a little social media publicity, and Nick’s wife was all “Um, he’d call you if you gave him your phone number.” I’m sure this won’t come as a shock, but things still aren’t great between the Carter boys.

People magazine says that Aaron recently stopped by The Z100 Morning Show with Elvis Duran to talk about what’s going on in Aaron’s life. We all know Aaron has recently come out as bisexual, that his girlfriend (and Georgia DUI arrest partner) Madison Parker broke up with him shortly after he made that announcement, and that he’s single and looking. He elaborated a bit more on that situation, saying she didn’t accept him, and adding that “even the ones that claim they love you will let you down.” Ouch, but…at least Madison got a subtle dig. Aaron pulled out the claws when it came time to talk about his crappy relationship with his big brother Nick.

“My brother had my number and he was like, ‘Let me know if you need help.’ And I said, ‘Dude, what are you talking about? You don’t even know me, Nick. You don’t even talk to me, and we see each other once or twice a year.’

I’m keeping it real, I love my brother, I’ll always love my brother but I think he loves me ‘conditionally.’ I have my path now, and my journey to focus on my music, and that’s all a part of my identity.”

Aaron clearly has some unresolved feelings about his brother. Apparently the awkwardness goes back to the House of Carters years.

One person Aaron might want to hush up about is his former publicist. According to TMZ, lawyers for Aaron’s former publicist Jon Lewandowski recently threatened Aaron with a lawsuit. They alleged Aaron has been hissing defamatory statements about his former publicist, like publicly accusing Jon of stealing money from Aaron and damaging his career. Jon’s lawyers claim the opposite; they accuse Aaron of owing Jon money. Jon’s lawyers also claim Jon had to quit being Aaron’s publicist, due to Aaron’s “increasingly alarming and reckless behavior.”

As for Aaron’s health, he tells The Morning Show that people have accused him of having HIV, AIDS, a crack addiction, and a heroin problem. Psst – Aaron, you forgot the meth rumors. Aaron says he decided to prove once and for all that his health issues are the result of a hiatal hernia, and he decided to explore his health on an upcoming episode of The Doctors. He also addressed his health yesterday on Twitter.

What I’m taking from this is that Aaron has definitely got some deep-seated brother issues, and that he’s not opposed to laying his personal business out there on a daytime TV show.
