Meghan Trainor Pulled Her Latest Music Video Because She Thinks They Went Overboard On The Photoshop

I have some bad news for those of you who are looking at this screen shot of a Wynonna-looking Meghan Trainor standing with dancers that look like they were borrowed from a low-budget fan edit of Aqua’s “Lollipop (Candyman)” and are wishing that you could watch an entire music video of it. The music video that goes with that screen grab has been deleted forever by Meghan Trainor herself. Well, at least that specific version of that video.

On Monday, Meghan Trainor released the music video for her latest single “Me Too.” And six seconds later, she took it down. People who know what Meghan Trainor’s body looks like saw the video and immediately ran to their local police station to fill out a missing persons report for her waist. Meghan is all about that body positive image, so she yanked down the video. She then slapped at the powers that be for Photoshopping several pairs of ribs and a few internal organs out of her waist. And she did it all on Snapchat:

As to how that video saw the light of the Internet without Meghan seeing it first, she claims she never approved the video before it was released. Last night, she appeared on Watch What Happens Live! (via UsWeekly) and explained the situation a second time to Andy Cohen.

“Look at that waist!” she said, jumping up to show off her real figure. “I’m snatch, I’ve been working out a little bit. I called the gods at Vevo and said take it down now. But I fixed it, I approved a new version and it’s coming out tomorrow morning.”

At first glance, it didn’t look like that much of Meghan Trainor’s waist was missing and I side-eyed her for being dramatic. But then I saw this screen grab from “Me Too” and I realized that, yeah, someone definitely leaned in way too hard on the liquefy tool.

Even Khloe Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan are like “Okay, that’s a little extreme.

As promised (more like threatened), here’s the new version of “Me Too.” Forget the Photoshop – the most embarrassing part about this video is that Meghan Trainor’s nickname is “M-Train.

Of course, it doesn’t matter how quickly Meghan was able to yank the original and replace it with a new one, someone with quick fingers was able to grab a few screen shots of the Photoshopped version of “Me Too.” So go ahead and compare for yourself what a Photoshopped Meghan looks like with the real one above. Or better yet, sit and ponder how it’s possible that we’re still talking about Meghan Trainor in 2016.
