Taylor Swift Gave The Commencement Speech At NYU And Received An Honorary Doctorate
Don’t call her Tay Tay. It’s DOCTOR Tay Tay from now on, thankyouverymuch. According to Billboard, New York University has awarded Taylor Swift with an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degree, presumably for her groundbreaking papers titled Haters Gonna Hate: A Compendium of Clap Backs and Complaints and Cottage to the Core: Vintage Rural Aesthetics for Modern Suburban Girls. Taylor, who never attended college, also gave the commencement speech at today’s ceremony at Yankee Stadium celebrating the graduating classes of 2020, 2021, and 2022.
Oprah’s Golden Globes Speech Had Everybody In Their Feelings
Last night’s Golden Globes had it all; drama (thank you Winona Ryder), suspense (wondering if Kirk Douglas would live to the end of each sentence), intrigue (Is Susan Sarandon gonna start some shit?!) and most notably, Oprah bringing the house down. Let me rephrase, Oprah BURNT the house down.
