But if Halsey is telling the truth, then current-day music industry success might only be quantified after someone can name an artist’s last three viral moments on TikTok. Kanye West Threatens To Quit Coachella Unless Billie Eilish Apologizes To Travis Scott (For Something She Didn’t Do)

It’s no secret that Kanye West is a control freak with aggressive Karen energy, and for a while, his focus was on micromanaging his ex-wife. But it looks like he might have taken a break from inserting himself into Kim Kardashian’s business, and instead, he’s inserting himself into Billie Eilish’s business. Kanye is demanding that Billie apologize to poor Travis Scott over some recent remarks she made disparaging the rapper. And if Billie doesn’t make with a sincere apology worthy of Kanye’s high standards, well then – Kanye is going to quit the 2022 Coachella Music Festival lineup. The only problem is, Billie never actually said anything about Travis Scott, and she’s not sure what she’d even be apologizing for.

Taylor Swift Once Again Asks The Court To Throw Out The “Shake It Off” Lawsuit

Taylor Swift is slowly working her way through re-recording all her old songs, as a giant “fuck you” to her old record label, Big Machine, who she claims denied her the right to buy all her masters back. And one could assume that Taylor would be all too excited to leave the material from her first six albums in the past. Unfortunately, she can’t shake off (I am so sorry) the shadow of Shake It Off, the lead single from her 2014 album 1989. If I was Taylor, I would want to run as far away from “Shake It Off” as humanly possible, just because that music video is pure cringe. But Taylor’s reasons are purely ownership-based. And yet, she can’t move on from it, because there’s been a lawsuit following her around since 2017. It was dismissed once, but it’s back again, and Taylor would like it to be tossed out once more.
