Bob Odenkirk Is Back On The Set Of “Better Call Saul”
Today in totally happy/non-cynical news, Bob Odenkirk is back on the set of Better Call Saul! 58-year-old Bob’s return to work comes six weeks after he suffered a mild heart attack while shooting the show’s sixth season in New Mexico. This morning he tweeted a photo of himself getting his makeup done, and wrote,“Back to work on Better Call Saul! So happy to be here and living this specific life surrounded by such good people.” D’awwww. I don’t even watch that show and his tweet gave me heart feelings. Such is the power of a non-asshole man in Hollywood.
Bob Odenkirk’s Son Says He’s Going To Be Okay!
Store shelves everywhere were empty of prayer candles yesterday from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul fans (SAULivators?) buying them up after hearing the news that Saul himself Bob Odenkirk collapsed on set and was laid up in a hospital bed in New Mexico. Bob’s situation slid into “Shit Is Serious” territory when his Breaking Bad co-star Bryan Cranston told everyone to please put their praying hands together for Bob or send some healing thoughts his way. Well, after Bob’s fans pulled some “Better Call God” moves and furiously refreshed Twitter for an update, his son, Nate Odenkirk, delivered some good news. Bob’s going to be okay! Aaaand, exhale.
Bob Odenkirk Was Rushed To The Hospital After Collapsing While Filming “Better Call Saul”
Something scary happened yesterday on the set of Better Call Saul’s sixth season. Multiple news outlets are reporting that Bob Odenkirk, the Saul in Better Call Saul (or I guess technically the Jimmy McGill, Gene Takovic, Charlie Hustle, or Kevin Costner, but that’s not what’s important here), collapsed while shooting, and was taken to hospital.
TMZ reports that 58-year-old Bob Odenkirk collapsed on set in New Mexico yesterday, and crew immediately rushed to his side, calling an ambulance, and whisking him off to get help. He was hospitalized, where he continues to receive medical attention.
