Kanye West Is Getting Slapped With A $1M Suit He Didn’t Design

A lawsuit, that is. If it were something out of the Yeezy collection, it would probably unravel before its first wash, and not even the glamorous, dead-mole color palette could save it from certain self-annihilation.

Complex tells us that Professional Genius, Man of Many Volts and Jesus Whisperer Kanye West faces a million-dollar, class-action suit due to unpaid wages for those who worked on his Nebuchadnezzar opera.

According to legal documents obtained by Complex, staffers for the event claim they were not properly compensated for their work on the production. The plaintiffs include background actors as well as a hairstylist who said she was supposed to be paid $550 for two days of work. The hairstylist said it wasn’t until four months after the show that she received $530 for services, as the defendants allegedly charged her a $20 wire fee to receive her paycheck. A number of other staffers were also allegedly charged this fee when they received their wages, which is a violation of California’s labor code.

This has to be a rough day for Kanye. Not only did he lose his shot at taking over the current presidential shitshow (and as I write this, word has come in that his poorly bronzed, incumbent BFF screeching Squatters’ Rights is getting turfed), but karma has come to visit him in the form of unpaid bills, just as it will for his tangerine tantrum-generator buddy.

Spin notes the following:

West and his team have not responded to the allegations or the lawsuit.

In other news, West has officially conceded his defeat in the 2020 Presidential Election and intends to run again in 2024. He also documented his first-ever vote in an election, which unsurprisingly went to him.

I’d normally have a go at his overblown ego and poor taste in spouses, but right now all I can do is be blissed out by the long-awaited election results and pass out drunk with the rest of you.
