Kelis Kind Of Addressed The Rumors Of Her Dating Bill Murray
Last week, mismatched daters in the cesspool of love began lengthening the age ranges on their favorite hookup apps after discovering Bill Murray and Kelis‘ potential May/December romance. And this pairing is weird as hell because I would have never placed these two together in an elevator, let alone a relationship. But neither of them has 100% claimed each other since everything is merely speculation at this point. And Kelis is reveling in her moment to milk the situation by dropping little cryptic gems here and there to keep the story fresh as opposed to simply coming out and saying, “Yes, Bill slimes me EVERY night, you nosy bitches!”
According to Entertainment Weekly, people have been flocking to Kelis’ posts to ask, “So what’s up with you and PopPop?” in some way. Sources close to them say they’ve both been bonding through their recent losses of close loved ones (Bill lost his second wife, Jennifer Butler, in 2021, and Kelis lost her husband, Mike Mora, in 2022). But even with that tiny morsel of back story, Kelis is remaining tight-lipped. She did, however, peek from behind the shroud of mystery surrounding this confusion to tickle and tease the folks with a half-assed response.
Responding to a fan’s comment on an Instagram post asking her to “address these Bill Murray allegations,” she wrote, “lol no babe, I wouldn’t bother at all.”
The 43-year-old “Bossy” recording artist was rumored to have been romantically involved with the Oscar-nominated Lost in Translation actor and former Saturday Night Live star, 72, after the U.S.Sun reported that Murray attended one of Kelis’ performances in London over the weekend.

For most people who want to remain private about their private lives, this would have been the perfect time to throw down the mic. However, noticing the spotlight cast upon her was still a little warm, Kelis came back for Round Two. And this time, according to Page Six, Kelis basically reminded everyone that whether or not she and Bill are dating, the one thing they both have in common is that they’re richer than everyone wondering about their situation.
The musician-turned-farmer responded to fans in the comments of her Instagram section who requested explanations, writing, “Lol yeah maybe for now everyone’s dumb and will believe anything but the best part is we are both blessed, rich and happy.”
Kelis, 43, had previously told fans she “wouldn’t bother” to address the rumors at all, as she’s been on a luxe getaway to Greece with her kids.
This sounds like the kind of thing she’ll try to stretch out for months if it’s true. Meanwhile, Bill is back on the Ghostbusters set, fending off obvious questions about milkshakes, Kelis, and yards. Just as long as they don’t make an official announcement of their relationship with an updated Blindfold Me video featuring Bill instead of Nas. We can all agree we ain’t afraid of no ghosts, but those visuals would be terrifying as hell.
