Open Post: Hosted By The Existence Of Velveeta Chocolate Truffles

Two of the greatest joys in life are 1) eating chocolate and 2) eating cheese. The pleasure one derives when biting into a decadent yet creamy piece of chocolate or cramming a triple-cheese pizza into your mouth cannot be compared. Knowing this simple fact of life, gourmet chocolate company Compartés decided to use this knowledge for evil and create an unholy combination: the TruffVel. And it’s just in time for Mother’s Day (if you hate your mom)!

To many, Velveeta is not really considered a real cheese, and to be honest, they’re right. But that didn’t stop Compartes from trying to make cheesy chocolate happen. via Nerdist:

Here’s how the confectionary shop describes their latest handmade product, the work of chocolatier Jonathan Grahm:

The Velveeta infused white chocolate shell-shaped truffle is made for those who go all in for the things they love. Compartes Chocolate Cheese TruffVels consist of Compartés sweet white chocolate paired with the creamy delicious bite of Velveeta for a unique sensation unlike any other.

Rather than looking like a regular piece of chocolate, the truffle comes in the shape of one of the shells you find in a package of Velveeta Shells & Cheese. Classy or tacky? You be the judge. You can order a box of chocolate with cheesy goo inside for only $25. Velveeta has really been going hard at the brand awareness game. Just in the last year, a giant box of Velveeta appeared in Central Park, and the company released a cheese-scented nail polish. Are shoppers just not purchasing boxes of fake cheese anymore? People, I implore you people to buy more Velveeta, or we’ll continue to be subjected to these stunts!
