Lana Del Rey Is Reportedly Engaged
Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd? And, more importantly, did you know that sources tell Billboard Lana Del Rey is engaged? Well? Didja? I didn’t! But good for her. Last we heard, Lana was dating musician Jack Donoghue, and fans speculated that the flowers she received on Valentine’s Day were from him. But, apparently, Lana’s fiancé is a whole new guy: it’s Evan Winiker, a managing partner at the talent agency, Range Media. Phew! He’s not a cop!
Billboard reports that Lana, 37, and Evan, 40, kept their romance a secret, but the clues were there:
While the couple have successfully kept their relationship under wraps, they’ve been spotted in public a few times together over the past several months, including a September outing at the Malibu Chili Cook-Off festival and, most recently, at Pappy and Harriet’s restaurant in Pioneertown, Calif., earlier this month, where they posed for pictures with fans.
The Chili Cook-Off festival?? Whoa, they’re serious. At Range Media, Evan represents musicians like MAX, Daya, Disco Biscuits, Skyler Stonestreet, and Walk Off the Earth. Either I’m old or those acts are nobodies, cuz I haven’t heard of any of ’em. It’s probably the former. But Evan wasn’t always a suit. Years ago, he was in a band called Steel Train with Jack Antonoff, whom Lana has frequently collaborated with. Unlike his maybe-future-wife, Evan’s Instagram is open to the public, so get ta stalkin’. Based on his profile, he likes hats, nature, and going to baseball games with Richard Kind (???).
If the rumors are true, this will be Lana’s first marriage. After she dumped her cop ex, Sean Larkin (the one she targeted with the revenge billboard), she got involved with musician Clayton Johnson, and sources claimed they got engaged at the end of the 2020. Obviously, it didn’t last.
Lana has yet to confirm or deny the reports, but methinks it’s true. See: her recent retro bridal-themed photoshoot for Interview magazine:
Lana probably wore the dress home from the shoot, plopped on the couch beside Evan, and said, “Ummm… anything ya wanna ask me?”
