Lana Del Rey Is Probably Engaged To Her Boyfriend Clayton Johnson
So, Lana Del Rey has been wearing a ring that looks suspiciously like the type of ring a person would give you if they wanted to get married. And this is a bit of a surprise, considering it feels like she was just drying her morose tears for her now-ex cop boyfriend. But lo and behold, Lana has apparently been dating someone in quarantine, and she’s maybe now engaged to him.
If you take a closer look in that picture above, you might notice a certain sparkly something on Lana’s left-hand ring finger. And of course, it could have just been a ring whose only significance is that it’s made from polished minerals dug out of the ground. But, it showed up again, on the same finger, which had a whole lot of people thinking that it was that type of ring. Lana appeared on Monday night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and once again she was wearing a big honking diamond on her engagement ring finger. Here’s Lana performing, “Let Me Love You Like A Woman” (aka “I’m Not Like Other Girls“).
Also, something to note, the only ring on her hands is the one engagement-y looking ring, which feels pretty deliberate. People magazine did some detective work, and they say that a source close to Lana has confirmed to them that her engagement-style ring is exactly that. People says that 35-year-old Lana is definitely engaged to her boyfriend of a little while, 31-year-old singer Clayton Johnson. They reportedly started following each other on social media back in August and spent Halloween together.

Here’s a better pic of Lana’s rumored future husband:
I’ll be honest, he’s not exactly who I pictured Lana would get engaged to. Then again, it sort of fits. After all, he kind of reminds me of a combination of James Hurley and Bobby Briggs from Twin Peaks, and Lana has made a very successful career off of her Julee Cruise impression.
Lana’s engagement, if that’s what the truth is here, is likely giving her conflicting emotions. On the one hand, she’s getting married to the man of her dreams (even if her dreams have been in the works for only a couple of months). On the other hand, you know she totally sees herself as more the type to get stood up at the altar in a vintage 1960s lace wedding gown, crying into a plate of reception hall buffet ambrosia salad. Decisions, decisions.
