Alexander “AE” Edwards Says He And Cher’s Sons Get Along

It would make sense for Cher’s sons, 54-year-old Chaz Bono and 46-year-old Elijah Blue Allman, to be wary of 37-year-old music producer, Alexander “AE” Edwards “Bang Bang”-ing their 76-year-old mom. But, even though there were recent rumors that Chaz and Elijah were worried about AE weaseling his way into their future fat pockets and didn’t approve of him and Cher possibly getting ready to elope despite the familial conflict, AE recently said that all of the adults get along and Cher’s even met his 3-year-old son. We can also all look forward to AE and Cher making sweet, sweet music together (and not just in the way that a cougar would describe doing the do with her much younger piece when gushing about it at her book club), because Cher said he gave her some of the songs that’ll be on her two upcoming albums.

According to TMZ, AE denied that there was any tension in the blending of his and his maybe-fiancée Cher’s families, called Chaz and Elijah “his guys,” and said Cher is wonderful with his 3-year-old son with Amber Rose. Chaz and Elijah haven’t commented on all of this, but they’re probably just glad there’s new blood around to attempt to teach Cher how to use the Domino’s app to make “pizza happen.” 

We got Alexander at Il Pastaio in Beverly Hills on Wednesday and he told our photog Cher’s sons, Chaz Bono and Elijah Blue Allman, are “my guys.”

Alexander has a son of his own with Amber Rose … and when we asked him how Cher gets along with little Slash, he told us Cher’s “amazing.”

Though Cher could just be relaxing and luxuriating in her “ridiculous” love bubble, she told E! News she’s hard at work making new music and is preparing to tour later this year. And she revealed that AE gave her a few of the songs she’s been working on.

“I’m going to England to make two albums,” Cher told E! at the Carol Burnett: 90 Years of Laughter + Love taping on March 2. “Some of the songs Alexander gave me, so I’m pretty excited about that. He’s a producer and a writer and he does everything, so I’m happy about that.”

And according to the Oscar winner, Alexander’s tracks are sure-fire hits.

“I think like any artist,” she teased, “when you’ve got something good, you’re excited.”

In addition to bringing new music into the world, the “Believe” singer shared she’s planning to tour later this year, adding, “I’m trying to get myself in shape.”

It’s exciting that Cher’s working on new music. Now, can she please work on some sicker burns for the haters? Because this swing/miss was unbecoming of an icon:
