Cher Opened Up About Her “Ridiculous” Relationship With Alexander “AE” Edwards

Ever since the eternally youthful queen, Cher, was papped alongside and eventually confirmed to be in a relationship with music producer/Amber Rose ex, Alexander “AE” Edwards in November, interests were piqued, and some wondered what a couple with a 40-year age difference (where it’s the woman who’s the old one this time, *le gasp*) could have in common. But, despite the generational gap, it seems as though Cher has found the one her heart wants for the time being and who’s probably young enough and not too far removed from normalcy to know how to take care of ordering her a pizza in these trying times. She opened up about the “ridiculous on paper” relationship on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Page Six says Cher was a guest on Friday’s episode of Kelly’s show and was open about her and AE’s burgeoning, unconventional union and why she prefers younger men.

“On paper, it’s kind of ridiculous,” the “Believe” singer admitted on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” Friday. “But in real life, we get along great.”

After sharing that she typically does not “give men” praise “they don’t deserve,” Cher, 76, described Edwards, 36, as “fabulous,” “very kind,” “very smart,” “very talented” and “really funny.”

“And I think he’s quite handsome,” she added.

Cher made sure to assert that she “wasn’t born yesterday” when news of the relationship broke last month, so although she’s being cautious since AE was a tramp and cheated on Amber Rose, she says that they “kiss like teenagers,” which is probably the last stage of my life that I’d pick to model my kissing after–because braces and the scent of benzoyl peroxide–but you do you, boo. And one of AE’s friends said that the relationship makes sense because AE’s a good ass kisser, which isn’t a red flag at all.

Cher has since continued to interact with fans about her new man, most recently tweeting that they “[kiss] Like Teenagers.”

But the “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again” actress may want to be careful about Edwards, who previously admitted to cheating on his ex-girlfriend Amber Rose, who is the mother of his 3-year-old son, Slash.

“He knows how to kiss ass. Always did,” the music executive’s friend Ryan Fluis recently told The Post. “So in a way it would make sense he’d wind up with someone like Cher.”

Cher even recently tweeted a pic of her new piece, and it looks like they might’ve been in the boudoir. She had no time for the ageist naysayers who swarmed:

Every time I hear about this relationship, my mind somehow confuses “AE” with ER actor Anthony Edwards–maybe because he and Cher might be less of a farfetched pairing–so hopefully, this fling is over before I waste too much time correcting myself. But Cher’s declared that she’ll never go gray and most likely keeps her injector on speed dial, so why not continue the pursuit of eternal youth by getting the hot beef injection from someone the better part of half a century younger for a little while?
