Chlöe Bailey Is Facing Major Backlash For Her Upcoming Song With Chris Brown

February 17, 2023 / Posted by:

Chlöe Bailey, known in some circles as Lil’ Beyonce and one-half of Chlöe x Halle, has been captivating the hearts of her fans since she was a fresh-faced singing teenager. So, of course the industry transformed her into a scantily clad, caterwauling sex kitten to boost her record sales, and we hate love to see it! However, it’s still a little too early in her career to be making huge mistakes that can hurt her in the long run. And one of those mistakes includes ANYTHING involving petulant man child abuser Chris Brown. True, he has support from some artists, but we don’t need him tainting Chlöe’s career with the stench of his immaturity. And now that the two of them have released a song together, many of Chlöe’s fans and people with common sense believe this collaboration is a move in the wrong direction. Did Chlöe learn nothing from the Normani mess?!

Chlöe’s track featuring Chris, titled How Does It Feel, will drop next Friday, February 24. However, a snippet of the song was released through Queen Bey’s Parkwood Entertainment in preparation for Chlöe’s debut album In Pieces, which is due for a March release.

Dammit Chlöe! I don’t want to like this song because as soon as Chris stumbles all over the track with his stale since 2004 vocals, I will be forced to turn it off. And it doesn’t help that she shared a promo pic for the track featuring the two of them in an embrace that pinpoints the exact moment Chris steals her soul for a few more years of relevance. The Daily Beast reports;

On Thursday, singer Chlöe Bailey, who performs under the mononym Chlöe, announced the second single from her hotly anticipated debut album In Pieces.The track, “How Does It Feel,” features none other than the controversial musician, who’s seen on the cover art holding Bailey in a tight embrace as they stare seductively into each other’s eyes.

Chlöe’s body language here screams, “Your breath smells like felonies!” while Chris looks like a walking turtle with that weird hump attached to his back. Chris’ fans are obviously loving this collab, but Chlöe’s fans are not impressed:

Well, Chlöe will probably make money from this, Chris will do whatever it is he does to continuously remind us he’s a terrible human being, and another singer will ignore that by doing a collab with him. Rinse and repeat, sadly.
