Eva Mendes Called Ryan Gosling Her Husband During An Interview
Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have allowed the public to play the are they/aren’t they married game for the last decade-plus since they shacked up in 2011. The couple has since lived a very private life with their two daughters and zero sweatpants. Eva especially has largely stayed out of the spotlight and remained mum on speculation about her and Ryan’s relationship until last week when she very conspicuously flashed her “de Gosling” tattoo on Instagram. And shortly after that, she decided to give ‘em somethin’ to talk abowwt by calling Ryan her husband in an interview on Australian TV. So either she forgot that they’d spent years not talking about it, or someone was ready to put on her fancy pants and get back out there on the attention stroll.
People says that Eva appeared on Aussie TV to discuss the charity work she’s been doing while the whole family’s in Australia as Ryan films a movie there. She nonchalantly let it slip that she and Ryan are wife and husband.
While appearing on Channel Nine’s Today to talk about her charity work in Australia on Friday, Mendes referred to Gosling as her “husband” in passing.
“Everyone is so welcoming here and my husband Ryan is here, and we are having the best time,” Mendes told hosts Karl Stefanovic and Allison Langdon during the show, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Mendes’ “husband” mention arrives as Gosling films his new movie, The Fall Guy, in Australia, and just a week after Mendes’ posted an image of a wrist tattoo nodding to her partner on Instagram. In the photo, Mendes covers her face with her wrist, which features the words “de Gosling.”
Reps for Gosling and Mendes did not comment when asked for clarification.

Eva and Ryan were rumored to have tied the knot back in 2016 (though they denied it at the time), so it’s only taken six years for one of them to crack or stop caring enough to finally just put it all out there. All of my monies would have been on Ryan spilling the beans since he couldn’t even keep his child-like, uncontrollable giggles together at the Oscars or when hosting Saturday Night Live. It’s a wonder he didn’t let it slip years ago that he gets to see Eva’s boobies whenever he wants–although so can any of us who’ve seen basically any movie she’s been in.
