Joe Exotic Has Called Off His Prison Wedding And Is Back With His Ex

TRUE LOVE IS DEAD! Sort of. When it comes to Joe Exotic, something usually dies. Whether it be that bitch Carol Baskin’s husband (so Joe claims), interest in the Tiger King and any of its spinoffs, or a prison romance. Last we heard of Joseph Maldonado-Passage, he was planning to marry his mysterious felonious fiancé, John Graham. After meeting behind bars, Joe wanted to make an honest man out of John and marry him. The main thing hindering his impending nuptials was his messy divorce from Dillon Passage. Well, it looks like Joe won’t be adding another hyphen to his name because the marriage is officially off!
Joe is serving a 21-year sentence for attempting to murder Carol via hitman. While incarcerated, he met John and began a whirlwind relationship that lasted about as long as public interest in that Joe vs Carol Peacock show. No one knows much about the relationship, just that Joe decided to “take a chance” on John “because he was older and rock bottom.” I’ve dated people for dumber reasons, I guess. Fast forward to today and Joe is DONE with John! And to further twist the knife into his new ex-boyfriend’s back, the Tiger King is back with his old flame, Seth Posey! There are far too many exes to keep track of in this story. The New York Post explains:
Imprisoned “Tiger King” star Joe Exotic’s latest wedding is off — and he’s back with ex Seth Posey, he confirmed to fans.
The reality TV star, whose real name is Joseph Maldonado-Passage, detailed the latest twist in his complicated prison romances in an audio message “update on my love life for curious minds.“
He said he wanted to “set the record straight” amid false rumors he was back with estranged husband Dillon Passage.
In fact, he insisted, he had only dumped Posey because he was “young and very handsome” and the 59-year-old inmate “didn’t want to end up with another Dillon.”
Joe went on to say that he basically ended his relationship with John because it “turned out to be fake.” Now that Joe and Seth are back together, the couple is ready to “pick up where [they] left off.” I don’t really remember where they were initially because it’s been a million years since the Tiger King series, but good for them, I suppose! I suspect Joe won’t be rushing into any marriage plans soon because his divorce is still ongoing.
His attorney, Blackledge, also gave an update Wednesday on the reality star’s divorce from Passage, saying that although it was “hitting a little bit of a lull” it was “still trucking away.”
The biggest delay, she insisted, was the focus on trying to get the star a retrial — teasing fans that they will find out soon if he will be allowed an evidentiary hearing in his bid.
She insisted his legal team was “firing on all cylinders to help get him out of prison and also to help get him divorced,” she said.
Wedding announcements, breakups, divorce proceedings, and a shiny new boyfriend? For a dude stuck in prison, Joe really knows how to keep himself busy. I don’t know what’s up ahead for ol’ Joe and this retrial but hopefully, it’ll happen quietly. I don’t think the public will accept another Tiger King series, Peacock OR Netflix!
