T.I. Interrupted Comedian Lauren Knight’s Set After She Referenced The Sexual Assault Allegations Against Him

Last year, T.I. and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, were accused by at least 15 different women of heinousness. The accusations included sexual and physical assault, trafficking, drugging, and statutory rape. The LAPD opened an investigation last May but the case was eventually dismissed because it was not within the 10-year statute of limitations. But looks like T.I. would like all of the accusations to go away and never be brought up again. Because when comedian Lauren Knight brought up the allegations at a show that T.I. was at, he lost his whole mind. He didn’t The Slap™ her but he definitely got out of pocket.

Complex says that during an open mic comedy event at Our Bar ATL, Lauren somehow brought up the allegations against T.I. It’s not clear exactly how she mentioned it but T.I. got mad. And of course, it’s on video.

The clip begins with T.I. denying the accusations and reminding the audience that the assault case was ultimately dismissed in Los Angeles court.

“There was no fucking crime. There is nothing to charge me for, or my wife,” he says in the mic, before Knight attempts to interject. “Shut the fuck up for a second! Hey, listen. No, no, no. As many times as you joke on that shit, n***a, I’m gonna check yo mother fuckin’ ass as long as it takes. N***a, when you stop talking about it, when you stop playing with me and mine, I’ma stop saying something.”

He continued: “Ain’t no mother fucking case, ain’t never been no mother fucking case. ‘Cause I ain’t did nothing wrong and my wife ain’t did nothing wrong. And if you keep on playing with me, n***a, I’m gon’ mother fuckin’ continue to confront you publicly, verbally.”

Lauren later told the audience that she believes T.I. is innocent saying “T.I. is innocent. I truly believe it, Give it up for him. There are no charges.” But that didn’t cool T.I. down and he continued to go off:

Immediately after Knight attempted to squash the issue, T.I. began shouting, once again, and told Knight to “stop playing with” him. Knight reassured Tip that wasn’t the case, and reminded him she was just doing her job as a comedian.

“This is not a rap battle. This is a mother fuckin’ comedy show,” she said, as T.I. walked on the stage and gave her a hug. “And be clear, if I want to make jokes about something, I’ll make jokes about something. Absolutely. You’re not going to tell me to shut the fuck up in my shit. This is my shit. Let’s be very clear.”

T.I. then snatched the mic from Knight’s hands and said, “No, it’s not,” before his sound was cut. Several minutes later, Knight and T.I. exchanged some kind words on the stage and seemingly buried the hatchet.

Lauren hopped on Instagram to talk about the weirdness and mostly laughed it off, reminding people to come to see her comedy show every Monday in her caption. Get the promo!

“I’m talking about marriage and shit [and] he keeps cutting me off, telling me to “shut the fuck,” calling me all kinds of bitches—heckling me,” she claimed. “So, I’m like, ‘Alright, c’mon. Stop playing with me. It’s crazy, like you keep going and I can’t say nothing to you.”Knight says T.I. then began telling her to take off her wig, and refused to stop—so much so, she described his behavior as harassment. It was at that time, Knight decided to fire back at T.I. by bringing up the sexual abuse allegations.“

I said, “Alright, I’ll take my wig off when you speak on the allegations.” Nobody was tight, except for him. Nobody called him a rapist. I responded to him telling me—in a room full of people—to rip my wig off, and made a joke just like he did. So if you gotta a problem with it, not mine.”

T.I. roasted his accusers in a gross song after they came forward with their awful allegations. So he won’t hesitate to make another diss track about the comic who reminded everyone about it. And while it probably won’t chart here on Earth, it’d definitely chart high in HELL.
