Chris Noth And Tara Wilson’s Marriage Is Reportedly “Hanging On By A Thread”
After being accused by three women of sexual assault, 67-year-old Chris Noth hasn’t just been dropped by his talent agency and his TV show, The Equalizer, his marriage is reportedly a mess too. Chris’ wife of 9 years, 42-year-old Tara Wilson, has been seen without her wedding ring, and while she isn’t getting photographed outside of a lawyer’s office holding prop divorce notes, she could get there soon as a source tells Page Six that the marriage to Chris is currently “hanging by a thread.” And Just Like That… his marriage unraveled.
Last week, three women accused Chris Noth of sexual assault in 2004, 2010, and 2015. Also, many mentioned an old article from The National Enquirer where Chris’ ex-girlfriend Beverly Johnson accused him of beating her during their relationship in the 90s. Because of the accusations, everyone is distancing themselves from him. And Page Six says Chris has now lost out on even more money over the accusations. He had a planned $12 million deal to sell his tequila brand, Ambhar, to Entertainment Arts Research. The company gave a statement to Page Six from chief executive Bernard Rubin that says: “We thought it would be in our best interest to withdraw from the transaction.” But Chris’ people deny that any deal was ever signed. This sucks for his wife Tara because now she can’t get half of that $12 million if she divorces him.
Tara and Chris have two children together, 13-year-old Orion and 18-month-old Keats. A source tells Page Six that she’s thinking of her children right now. Also one of the alleged sexual assaults occurred when Chris was married to Tara, but I don’t think cheating is the real issue here….
The embattled Sex and the City star–who has been accused of sexual assault by three women–is believed to be in New York City, while his wife is in Los Angeles. “Tara is upset and things are hanging by a thread,” an insider told us. “She just wants to protect the kids. That is her number one priority.”
In photos obtained by Daily Mail on Tuesday, Wilson was seen without her wedding band and large diamond engagement ring that she wore just two weeks ago as she joined her husband for a date night. The two attended the premiere of HBO’s SATC revival series, And Just Like That…, in NYC.
Onlookers saw them cuddling up together after leaving the screening at the MoMA, as they prepared to head to the starry afterparty. “They looked so happy,” an eyewitness told Page Six.
We’re told Wilson has been staying at their home on the West Coast and taking care of their children, as Noth attempts to fight the stream of accusations.
No comment from Chris Noth on this because, duh.
Well, if Tara wants out of her marriage to Chris, she can always consult with Georgia Chapman on How To Exit A Marriage With An Alleged Rapist. Or she can just give Chris a huge clue by getting him a Peloton for Christmas.
